We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Water/Wastewater Design Engineer aligned with our Water Solution Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. You will lead the water and wastewater facility designs for conventional and design-build projects ranging from $1M to over $250M in construction and support diverse projects around the region. With a strong backlog in both water treatment and wastewater treatment projects, there are unlimited opportunities to focus on the technologies and growth that you desire.
As the Senior Water/Wastewater Design Engineer at Jacobs, you will participate in all phases of delivery but provide focus on the following:
- Leadership of preliminary and detailed design of water and wastewater facilities including membrane systems, advanced wastewater treatment processes, pump stations, hydraulics, and piping.
- Quality control for project design in the office and around the region.
- Stewardship of our design tools and processes.
- Mentoring of staff including both engineers and designers.
- Support technical approaches and design planning for our project pursuits.
- Support sales teams with developing client relationships.
