ABOUT THE ROLE

As a
Lead Building Automation Controls Technicianhere at Honeywell Building Automation (BA), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of building automation systems. You will be accountable for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HVAC, fire, and alarm control systems. Your expertise in building automation controls, including Tridium Niagara systems, will contribute to the overall energy efficiency, sustainability, and productivity of our customers' facilities.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the performance and functionality of building automation systems.

• Install, program, and maintain building automation systems, including HVAC, fire, and alarm systems automation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to building automation controls.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure the optimal performance of automation systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement system upgrades and enhancements.
• Provide technical facilitation and training to customers and field service engineers.
• Travel 80% in the Southeast region (FL, AL, MS, GA).

• 5+ years of experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting building automation controls.
• Building Automation Systems programming skills.
• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's license.

• Technical degree is a plus.
• Niagara Tridium experience and/or certification.
• General network knowledge
• Experience working with open protocols (BACnet, Modbus, OPC, LON, etc.)
• Preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair experience
• Experience with Tridium, Niagara, N4, EBI, or other Commercial Industrial Systems
