The Operations Program Manager (OPM) for Packaging works to launch Beats products on time, with superior product quality and maximum customer availability in addition to supporting ongoing compliance and packaging post-ramp qualifications.
In this role you will manage new product introductions (NPI), line extensions, and sustaining project plans; track open issues, communicate project updates, and manage project deadlines independently. We work closely with other key cross-functional teams from Packaging Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Compliance, Procurement, Marketing, and Contract Manufacturers to develop the strategic direction and support overall product readiness to meet launch.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, and supply chain; working with engineering teams; and managing suppliers and contract manufacturers
- BS in a related engineering field (Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials, Industrial, Chemical, etc)
- Ability to travel 30-35% of time (International & Domestic)
- Masters in Engineering or MBA
- Clear, consistent communication skills; results and action-oriented; enthusiastic and motivated
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present to management
