Job Description

Equipment technician interns will be responsible for performing troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. In this role you will utilize diagnostic equipment and various vendor documents to isolate and repair malfunctions.

Process technician interns will be responsible for performing technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers. Once the product is on the line, the process technician monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators. Process technicians also test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Currently enrolled in a Technical Certificate or Associates program in Electrical/Electronic Technology, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, Automated Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Industrial Systems and Controls, Electromechanical Technology, or related electronics field
  • Flexible to work day or night shift that will include one weekend shift and holidays

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Working well in a team environment is imperative in this role.
  • Good listener and excellent verbal and written communication skills

Minimum requirements:

  • Master's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering degree

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with yield analysis and manufacturing data.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JMP, Excel, and statistical analysis software.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Expertise in analog/mixed-signal circuit design, analysis, and verification, including experience with Operational Amplifiers (OP Amps), Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs), Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs), and Radio Frequency (RF) circuits
  • Experience with digital logic design and verification, including Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG) and scan chain design and implementation
  • Knowledge of memory design and architecture, including Static Random-Access Memory (SRAM) and Flash memory
  • In-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including fabrication, assembly, and test
  • Strong foundation in device physics and circuit theory

In this role you will utilize diagnostic equipment and various vendor documents to isolate and repair malfunctions. Work may involve repetitive motion and some heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs.).

Shift:Work 12 hour in person shifts on a fixed, compressed schedule, allowing for 3-4 days off in a row and built in overtime.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, applied statistics, data engineering, data science, industrial engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent

  • Familiarity with common machine learning libraries for implementation such as sklearn, TensorFlow, torch, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of work experience in solving problems using quantitative methodologies, data-driven projects from idea to full implementation (architectural design, experimentation, metrics definition, communicating progress, driving progress, etc.)
