In this role, you will lead and oversee the integration and development of the overall BEOL in advanced lithography nodes, such as 28nm and beyond. Primary responsibilities will include (a) ownership of the process flow for BEOL that meets physical, electrical, yield and reliability targets; (b) working closely with the unit process development group to design experiments to evaluate multiple integration options and arrive at an optimized, manufacturable and cost effective solution; (c) partnering with the RET team to validate OPC and make improvements, as appropriate; (d) collaborating with the silicon-package-test interaction (SPTI) team to ensure silicon process is compatible with test and packaging robustness requirements. Texas Instruments is looking for an Equipment Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, equipment improvements, equipment upgrades, and equipment installation. You will interface and communicate with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently.
Responsibilities include:

• Improve system performance to achieve process requirements and eliminate repetitive downs
• Monitor and analyze all related data to improve and maintain tool performance and address all tool related issues
• Coordinate supplier service and repairs where needed
• Prepare the technical report and summary findings and recommending solutions to technical problems

Minimum requirements:

• High School diploma/GED
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to work 12 hour compressed work schedule
• Flexible to work day or night shift that will include one weekend shift and holidays
• One of the following:
  • Technical Certificate or Associates Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Technology, Automated Manufacturing, Industrial Automation, Robotics, Industrial Systems and Controls, Electromechanical Technology, or related field

As a process technician in one of our clean rooms, your responsibilities may include being responsible for performing technical tests and experiments for engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers. Once the product is on the line, the process technician monitors, audits and provides guidance to line operators. Process technicians also test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.This technician will be an invaluable part of the team, interfacing and communicating with engineering and manufacturing groups across the fab to ensure all issues are solved appropriately and efficiently. Additionally, you will provide process and product support to the organization and address production concerns and disposition of production material.

Responsibilities include:

• Yield Optimization: Conduct thorough analysis of production yield issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions that enhance product performance and manufacturing efficiency.
• New Product Launch: Collaborate with Business Units to characterize, qualify, and successfully release new products to production, ensuring a smooth transition from design to manufacturing.
• Production Support: Address daily production challenges including low yield disposition and process troubleshooting.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives focused on productivity, cost reduction, and quality enhancement across the production process.
• Data-Driven Insights: Utilize statistical tools and production data to guide engineering decisions and process improvements.
• Design Collaboration: Work with design teams on product simulation, design verification and silicon debug.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with business units' product engineering teams to drive yield improvements through test program optimization, hardware enhancements, and setup adjustments.

Minimum requirements:

• Master's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a product engineering role within the semiconductor industry.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with yield analysis and manufacturing data.
• Proficiency in tools such as JMP, Excel, and statistical analysis software.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Preferred qualifications:

• Expertise in analog/mixed-signal circuit design, analysis, and verification, including experience with Operational Amplifiers (OP Amps), Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADCs), Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs), and Radio Frequency (RF) circuits
• Experience with digital logic design and verification, including Automatic Test Pattern Generation (ATPG) and scan chain design and implementation
• Knowledge of memory design and architecture, including Static Random-Access Memory (SRAM) and Flash memory
• In-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including fabrication, assembly, and test
• Strong foundation in device physics and circuit theory
