- Owner of RFQ's and contract management - ensure Non-Disclosure Agreements, General Terms & Conditions, Piece Price Agreements, and other related contracts are negotiated, agreed and appropriately documented before business is initiated
- Degree or relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Proficient on Plastic Injection Moulding process variables, tooling, and resins
- Knowledge of Plastic Injection Moulding tool construction concepts (gate / runner designs / parting lines / die draw / draft angle / ejectors)
- Experience with Plastic Injection Moulding problem solving tools and techniques
- Familiar with tooling Moldflow design, parametrization, process and quality controls; tooling set up and validation of robotic cells
- Strong communication skill - good level spoken and written English
- Domestic and international travel (expected 50% of the time)

- Focus on the development of all team members by getting to know them and understand their skills and abilities; Utilize a skills matrix that you define to evaluate and address the areas that need refinement
- 3+ year experience managing teams of people in high-volume manufacturing setting. Preferred experience managing a mixture of individual contributors and people leaders
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or other Technical discipline, evidence of exceptional experience, or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to support Quality problem identification, prioritization, and resolution
- Ability to work with and develop Quality performance metrics. Ability to develop motivation and drive from team members even on challenging situations. Ability to work well under extreme pressure while managing competing demands and deadlines
- Communicate clearly using excellent written, verbal, and strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail and must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

- Design effective experiments through DOE or other methods to support design and process teams in investigation of various alternatives to resolve quality issues
- Manage and facilitate the root cause & corrective actions system through tracking and validation of issues and support in root cause analysis through facilitating brainstorming, use of lean methodologies, hypothesis testing, design of experiments, DMAIC, 8D, etc.
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, with a strong focus on large-scale construction projects
- Experience with body in white or enclosures manufacturing (stamping, welding, e-coat, powder coating etc.)
- Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) specific training and demonstrated success in applying design for quality, problem-solving methodologies, FMEA, process capability analysis, hypothesis testing, DoE and SPC
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements relevant to industrial electrical projects

- Work with factory teams to drive/implement solutions on the manufacturing floor to include supporting/reviewing deviations, allowance criteria, and engineering trials
- Work with quality systems teams to ensure adoption of best practices across the 4680 network
- Conduct detailed risk assessments at the product and manufacturing level to identify opportunity and drive mitigation of risks and improve yield
- Interface with reliability engineering teams to implement findings from the field, lifetime testing, as well as abuse engineering
- Take a lead role in problem solving efforts when necessary
- Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience, with a commensurately advanced level of competency in science/engineering fundamentals
- Proven extensive expertise/experience with lithium-ion cells. This is likely to include at least 5 years but more likely 10+ years of experience dedicated in the field. Due to the breadth of this field, that could include any number of the following areas from an engineering and/or manufacturing perspective: Design (mechanical, chemical); Electrode; Cell Assembly (any format); Formation and Aging; Cell Test (qualification, reliability, abuse, etc.); and Failure Analysis
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across levels and functions
