- Lead, coach, and develop a highly engaged team of Technicians to achieve service output goals
- Maintain appropriate shop records and inventories and manage smooth workflow in the service center
- Serve as the process leader for shop activities, ensuring work standards are defined and systemically improved with input from service technicians and the rest of the service center team
- Partner with Service Manager and other key stakeholders to establish targets for quality, speed, and cost in line with customer and business needs
- Monitor to ensure that all employees comply with safety regulations and the service center's safety program
- Work with employees to manage schedules and resolve technical and personnel problems
- Conduct regularly scheduled one on one developmental meetings with team members to facilitate professional development and monitor team training requirements
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
- Prior leadership experience (1-3 years) in a service-focused industry preferred; automotive expertise is not required
- Excellent communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills, and an ethical execution of Tesla standards
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekday and weekend overtime
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver’s license required

- Be a subject matter expert in energy system installation and maintenance, train and mentor others; may be responsible for a group or team
- Serve and commission energy systems on roofs including array layout and mounting hardware based on site conditions and customers’ needs and expectations, perform routine maintenance on energy systems
- Proactively resolve equipment and system issues and can troubleshoot and overcome obstacles onsite while applying advanced knowledge to improve processes and proactively reviews workmanship onsite
- Collaborate with warehouse team to ensure all materials and equipment necessary for servicing is available onsite and communicates job status to customer and leadership
- Understand productivity goals and drive team members to improve efficiency supervise the jobsite and proactively guides and trains team members to ensure compliance
- Attend weekly team meetings and mandatory training sessions on new products, service methodology, and safety
- Provide an exceptional customer experience to all customers and able to complete work both with a team and as a lone worker
- Extensive knowledge of PV equipment, installation, and service. Additional experience in roof work, general construction, or carpentry preferred
- Extensive knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment and be able to bend conduit unassisted
- Ability to read building plans and equipment manuals and maintain Quality Standards
- Ability to safely handle power tools and materials such as: ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, and other similar electrical equipment, lumber, roofing materials, etc.
- Excellent customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills. Computer skills preferred
- Excellent attendance is essential for the team to achieve success and a valid driver's license is required
- Travel is mandatory and will vary dependent on business needs. Employees must be able to travel for up to 2 weeks at a time, several times a year, to various locations within the US

- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related field or equivalent experience (preferred but not required)
- Proven experience in parts operations, inventory management, or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions

- Review and document inventory count to ensure accuracy within the warehouse
- Coordinate with other warehouses to mitigate shortages or surplus
- Complete auditable records: packing slips, pick lists, Job Closeout paperwork
- Deliver materials to job sites when needed. Complete all required safety trainings, follow safety policies, and always demonstrate proper safety protocols. Additional duties, as necessary
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other resource planning software
- Ability to perform repetitive duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods of time. Must be able to handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven leadership ability and a track record as a mentor to employees
- Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment along with excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. Open availability to work all shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
