A strong technical background in diagnosing complex electromechanical systems with heavy software content and deployed in safety-critical applications is required. • Responsible for creating and improving the tools and processes used for diagnosis and repair of Tesla’s driverless vehicles used as robotaxi’s
• Define the workflow of automated, real-time diagnostics running onboard and offboard the vehicle to direct vehicles to service and inform the necessary repairs
• Create automated diagnostic scripts to analyze vehicle logs, and define and diagnostic procedures to be used by Tesla service technicians
• Collaborate with service technical operations to define repair procedures, including creating necessary software routines to increase repair efficiency
• Conduct analyses to determine cost effective opportunities to rework and remanufacture critical components for re-use within Tesla’s fleet
• Identify and propose product improvements to hardware and software development teams that will increase reliability and uptime, reduce service cost, and minimize time spent in service
• Perform diagnostics on field failures both remotely - looking at data logged by the vehicle – and directly in the field with onboard diagnostic tools
• Coordinate with design and development teams to perform further root cause analysis with component owners where necessary

• Degree in Automotive Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science or similar, or equivalent experience
• Experience in automotive industry, technical operations, or technical support of physical products; experience with autonomous vehicles a plus
• Experience testing, validating, diagnosing, and/or designing complex electromechanical system with significant embedded software
• Knowledge of basic vehicle architecture, including CAN; a plus
• Knowledge of software connected devices, especially vehicles, a plus
• Experience with Python preferred; experience with C/C++ a plus
• Experience with data acquisition, analysis, and processing tools, such as SQL, preferred
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
• Demonstrated experience working hands-on with the products; Formula SAE or experience working on personal cars is a plus

• Provide risk management consultation and guidance to relevant Tesla stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with Tesla’s Risk Management and Insurance operating procedures and standard contractual commitments
• Interpret traditional and self-insurance, indemnity and risk of loss language to assist in contractual negotiations
• Process, manage and track certificates or letters of insurances with internal and external stakeholders
• Responsible for surety bond issuance and tracking
• Participate and/or lead trainings relating to risk philosophies, insurance terms and contractual commitments

• 5+ years’ experience in corporate risk management, insurance company or insurance broker environment
• Expert knowledge of surety, commercial insurances, insurance contract language, insurance underwriting and claims processing
• Demonstrated experience with large, multinational insurance programs
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload while meeting required goals and deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence and communicate effectively with insurance and non-insurance professionals

The Finance Operation Specialist will report directly to the Finops Supervisor and will assist in the day-to-day activities and various responsibilities pertaining to customer billing, cash application, investigation, reconciliation, and reporting within the organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years’ experience in a fast-paced environment. • Develops and administers operating procedures for O&M of utility scale battery storage facilities. Perform regular reviews and updates to operating procedures
• Provide guidance on real time and emergent operational issues and drive prompt resolutions
• Serve as the technical operations subject matter expert for Tesla operated utility scale battery storage facilities and regularly provide operational updates, guidance, and communicate risks to leadership and other stakeholders
