THE ROLE

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting SAP’s Passenger Travel industry customers with the conception and implementation of optimized processes
  • Collaboration with Global teams and supporting projects for new SAP transformational opportunities and projects for the Passenger Travel industry
  • Pre-Sales Support, creation and execution of presentations and demos to clients and partners for Passenger Travel customers
  • Close cooperation with the global teams regarding knowledge-sharing and business development for specific expert topics.
  • Developing Services, Packages and participating in delivering innovative use cases to solve industry challenges using SAP’s latest software and tools
  • Bringing in focus on Experience Data and Operational Data and provide solution to customer
  • Building reusable assets and lead knowledge management process
  • Supporting the Ramp-Up of new SAP products at our clients of in the Passenger Travel industry and ensuring knowledge transfer to partners and customers

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree/ MBA is recommended
  • Deep SAP Product Expertise in Procure to Pay (MM) and integration with other processes
  • Good understanding / hands on experience in other logistics modules is preferred
  • Preferred to have Ariba integration experience or understanding of Ariba Modules
  • Experience in SAP Airline project implementation. Candidate should have completed minimum four End to End implementations as consultant/ architecr for Airline Industry / Passenger Travel Industry
  • Should have extensive knowledge on Airline / Passenger Travel industry KPIs, methods of calculation andimplementation of SAP Solution
  • Knowledge in deploying solutions for Airline Fuel Procurement process, understanding of Airline Direct Operating Cost and Airline MRO process knowhows & integration is a plus
  • Knowledge in is preferred.
  • Working experience in Airline and other Passenger Travel Industry is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills, result-oriented and effectiveness in problem solving.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Team player and ability to work successfully in culturally diverse environments.
  • SAP methodology and Solution Manager experience is preferred.
  • Working experience of 15+ years
  • Location: Portugal

As a Digital Sales Executive, some of your responsibilities will be:

  • Coach partner sales representatives on engaging with prospects in complex software deals within the specialization area. Help position the value of the respective software or industry solution by providing ROI analysis, business case development, references, analyst data, etc.
  • Collaborate with Sales Development Executives to drive more pipeline and successfully move prospects through the customer journey with SAP
  • Successfully leverage all SAP sales channels (SAP Store, Partners, direct sales, etc.) to achieve sales targets and provide the best customer experience possible
  • Support the team and the organization in the prevention and⁄or identification of challenges, and the ideation of possible solutions
  • Help partners independently drive business by providing guidance based on data-driven insights: What products to position, when, and where
  • Ensure alignment with Indirect Channel Management, including Partner Business Managers and Inside Partner Business Managers, based on key channel economics. Collaborate closely with similarly specialized sales roles when available
  • Monitor the effective and appropriate use of SAP assets, including presales resources, by partners.
  • Provide regular reports on sales progress throughout the year with guidance. Identify deviations from agreed-upon plans and actively engage in corrective measures to achieve sales goals

EXPERIENCE AND LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited university, with preference for Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in enterprise software sales, sales enablement, business development, software industry operations, or related area is required
  • Profound knowledge of an industry operating model and/or SAP solution
  • Knowledge of Cloud technology (SaaS, DaaS, PaaS) in business to business environments
  • Polished professionalism with above-average organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong presentation skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office, communications software (Teams, Zoom, etc.), and presentation software (Canva, Adobe, etc.)
  • Passion for working in a tech sales environment
