What You’ll Do

Be part of the engineering team located in Bangalore and work in a highly motivated Scrum team. Your responsibility will be to cover all stages and tasks within the entire software development cycle:

  • You work as a Senior Java developer in an agile development team according to the agile Scrum methodology.
  • You develop microservices based components that will be deployed on the cloud thru SAP cloud Platform. We have experienced colleagues in our team to support you in acquiring the knowledge you need to build up.
  • You will focus on cloud qualities (“non-functional requirements” e. g. product standards like security, reliability, scalability, supportability, performance, health check monitoring) building large-scale, highly distributed and fault-tolerant services and processes.
  • You take over full end2end responsibility for design, implementation, quality assurance, testing, maintenance, DevOps and support.
  • You have a strong customer focus and cloud mindset (“You build it, you run it.”).You adhere to Engineering processes & SLAs, and you contribute to second level cloud customer support together with other locations.
  • You cooperate closely with colleagues across functions in your team and with other development teams and will also mentor young talent and guide them in development.

  • Experience building generative AI applications backed by advanced prompting & RAG technologies and agentic frameworks.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering , or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Experience level 8+ years with relevant software Development space (Enterprise Application Suites).
  • Excellent programming skills (both application and technology), advanced knowledge and experience in in Java backend development. Expertise in Web Services (REST, oDATA) , JPA, JDBC
  • Very good understanding of cloud qualities (“non-functional requirements”), e.g. reliability, scalability, supportability, monitoring, and product standards like security.
  • Good working knowledge of Spring, Spring-Boot, REST, ORM frameworks like Hibernate
  • OOAD, algorithms, data structures, design patterns. RDBMS concepts and Solid foundation with relational database and SQL. OS and runtime experience (Unix, Windows, JVM, Web servers, Servlet Containers).
  • DevOps mindset – inherent sense of ownership through the development and deployment lifecycle
  • 1 to 3 years of working experience as software developer, preferrable in AI focused cloud application development with Strong skills in building generative AI & advanced prompting
  • Experience with open-source agentic frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Ideal Qualifications
