What you’ll do

Our Talent Management strategy focuses on building an agile organization with a skills-based approach through enabling personalized career journeys, talent mobility, and high-performing teams. In this role you will be supporting our “Talent Management Strategic Initiative” supporting our P&C People Agenda goal to enable our “skills-based people ecosystem”.

Specifically, you will join the Talent Programs team and our current project team where you will:

• Support with the design, development, and implementation of strategic talent programs aligned with our new Talent Management Strategy
• Support with the design and future run of a portfolio of talent development offerings including top talent, expert programs, rotations and more
• Support current and future talent program offerings as the company changes, bringing new programs, sunsetting programs when needed and adjusting/changing existing programs
• Identify program enhancements, opportunities, or gaps
• Ensure consistent and efficient delivery of the Talent programs and acts as a point of contact concerning operational issues as well as escalation point for issues and questions.
• Proactively work with other teams to consistently improve scalability and efficiency of our talent programs

About your key responsibility:

• Partner with product managers, design leadership, and engineers to translate complex features and functionalities into clear, visually appealing, and user-friendly experiences.
• Be a driver and owner of the creation and improvement of the design guidelines and mechanism to amplify internal adoption among all the cross functional teams.
• Champion design best practices and establish new patterns that can be contributed back to a design system that ensures consistency and scalability across our product suite.
• Proactively present and advocate for innovative design solutions that improve user experience and product usability.

About you:

• 7+ years of product design experience, demonstrating emphasis on strong UI and visual design skillset.
• Proven experience designing for Saas companies focusing on intuitive user flows that meet user expectations and needs and serve either enterprise or B2B2C users.
• Strong passion with extremely high bar, to impact the team's design quality.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively present design ideas to leadership and executives.
• A passion for innovation and a desire to push the boundaries of design and elevate experiences to a new level.

Education and qualifications

Open to both undergraduate and graduate students who meets the following requirements and core competencies and skills listed below.

• Will be graduating in Feb. 2026, Aug. 2026, or Feb. 2027 (Is a Must)
• Course work in Database, Data Structures, Operating Systems, Algorithms, etc.
• An open-minded, problem-solving attitude, resilience, and positive spirit even under challenging conditions

• Experience in C/C++
• Experience in development on Linux environment
• Experience in SQL and Python is a plus
• Experience in development tools (GIT, GDB) is a plus
• Intermediate communication skills in English (Fluent is a plus)
• Analytical skills combined with the ability to work on complex topics is a plus

That’s where YOU come in.

As a VT/STAR student, you will be responsible to:

• Successfully complete an 18-month program that strengthens a foundation for a successful developer/researcher career at SAP.
• Participate in experiential learning opportunities and acquire a wide variety of business, project and SAP solution skills while working with emerging and cutting-edge technologies.
• Receive on-the-job training under the mentorship of a senior developer or researcher colleague to gain real business experience and acquire the skills.

The program will enrich your knowledge of SAP as well as give you the professional experience to be ready to serve our customers. Your official start date at SAP isJuly 7th, 2025and the total program period is 1 year 6 months. During your semester break, you will work full-time(40 hours per week) at SAP. During the semester, you will work on part-time (20 hours per week) or full-time at the company. You will be able to schedule your working time flexibly in accordance with your university schedule and the requirements of your department. You can apply for permanent positions after the completion of your studies and after half-completing this program (9 months), either in one of our business teams or in one of our graduate or Academy programs. If you get accepted, you can be converted into permanent employee by completing this program earlier than 18 months.

The program provides maximum support for internships through the university-operated field practicum program(, allowing you to earn university credit.
