Revenue Cloud Solution Engineer
As a Revenue Cloud Solution Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in driving customer success by showcasing the power of these solutions. You’ll partner with sales teams to design, demonstrate, and deliver compelling value propositions tailored to each customer’s outstanding challenges.
Your Impact
You will be a trusted advisor to our customers, helping them address their unique challenges and achieve their goals with the Salesforce Revenue Cloud suite. Specifically, you will:
Discover: Collaborate with business and technical customers to understand their difficulties and see opportunities to unlock value through CPQ, Billing, CLM, Order Management, Subscription Management, and Agentforce.
Design: Craft innovative solutions that showcase how Revenue Cloud automates and simplifies revenue processes, including quoting, contracting, billing, order management, and customer support scenarios.
Deliver: Lead compelling product demonstrations, workshops, and whiteboarding sessions that connect business needs to Salesforce solutions, highlighting innovations like CLM and AI-driven capabilities in Agentforce.
Enable: Educate internal teams and external audiences on emerging trends, product developments, and industry standard processes, ensuring successful adoption and implementation.
Digest: Stay up-to-date on the latest product roadmaps, industry news, and trends to provide insightful recommendations to our customers.
Minimum Qualifications
A degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
Knowledge of related applications, relational databases, web technologies, and APIs
Understanding of accounting, billing, tax, revenue recognition, and subscription-based models
Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in complex, cross-functional environments
Pre-sales consulting experience, including RFP support, discovery sessions, solution design, and demonstrations
Strong storytelling and public speaking abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Expertise with Quote-to-Cash and Revenue Cloud solutions
Professional certifications (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Billing, or Financial Management certifications)
Experience as a solution/sales engineer for CPQ, Billing, Contract Lifecycle Management, Subscription Management, Order Management, or Financial Management systems
Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ, Billing, Sales Cloud, or any Salesforce Industry Cloud
Knowledge of subscription billing, revenue recognition, and SaaS pricing models
Public speaking experience (events, webinars, or conferences)
Bonus Skills
Web development skills and familiarity with APIs (REST/SOAP)
Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or integration scenarios between Revenue Cloud and Commerce Cloud
Membership in professional organisations such as CPA/ACCA or equivalent

Your Impact - Responsibilities:
Business planning and strategy
Become a trusted advisor to CIO/CTO/Architects level contacts and their teams as they look to move their business to a cloud architecture
Earn the trust of prospects' and customers’ CISO/CSO/Chief Risk Officer and similar.
Present Salesforce technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deep familiarity with company's platform capabilities, hosting infrastructure, security and integration capabilities
Understand the customer need and establish company's product as the best solution that addresses the technical and business requirements
Conduct architecture and technical workshops that may include enablement sessions
Manage customer technical due diligence and risk management processes
Work closely with other elements of the Salesforce organization, e.g. alliances, solution engineering, industry business unit, product marketing, etc. to develop and execute internal and external programs and initiatives
Assist sales teams in responses to RFPs and technical requirements documents
Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certification to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position
Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management
Mentor and guide more junior technical resources
Minimum Qualifications:
Multi-year experience in either software, system or enterprise architecture disciplines
Good understanding of the architectural principles of cloud based platforms including SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, multi-tiered infrastructure, etc.
