

What You Will Do
Act as a Strategic Customer CTO: Serve as the senior technical relationship and strategy owner for key customer executives (CIO, CTO, CDO), building and maintaining long-term, trusted partnerships.
Develop Strategic Roadmaps: Lead the creation and evolution of the customer’s technology strategy and multi-year implementation roadmaps, demonstrating how Red Hat’s open hybrid cloud platform can solve their most complex business challenges.
Drive Innovation and Vision: Introduce customers to emerging technologies and innovative solutions from across the Red Hat portfolio, including AI/ML, edge computing, and application modernization, and guide them on adoption.
Orchestrate Red Hat’s Resources: Lead and coordinate a virtual team of Red Hat specialists, consultants, and partner resources to ensure a unified and seamless customer experience that delivers on the strategic vision. Engage closely with Account Teams (Account Executive, Solutions Architect) to build and foster the overall account strategy.
Influence Product Strategy: Translate customer business requirements and feedback into actionable insights for Red Hat’s product and engineering teams, directly influencing future product development.
Mentor and Lead: Provide thought leadership both internally and externally, and mentor a broad community of architects and consultants.
What You Will Bring
Executive Experience: 15+ years of experience in enterprise IT, with at least 5+ years in a senior customer-facing role like a chief architect, technology executive, or principal consultant.
Business Acumen: Proven ability to understand, articulate, and solve complex business challenges using technology. Experience in a specific industry vertical (e.g., finance, healthcare, telecommunications) is a significant plus.
Executive Presence: Outstanding communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives.
Technical Breadth and Depth: Extensive knowledge of enterprise architecture, including modern application development, hybrid cloud infrastructure, and automation.
Core Red Hat Technologies: Deep familiarity with the concepts behind our core technologies:
Linux Expertise: 5+ years of experience with enterprise Linux.
Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure: 5+ years of experience with virtualization and cloud platforms (e.g., KVM, VMware, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Container Platforms: 3+ years of hands-on experience and architectural knowledge of Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.
Strategic AI/ML Knowledge: Experience advising organizations on implementing and scaling AI/ML platforms and MLOps strategies.
Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent experience; a master's degree is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

What You Will Do

• Coach and mentor junior-level project and program managers
• Maintain professionalism when problem-solving and resolving issues
What You Will Bring
• 10+ years of relevant program and project management experience
• Knowledge of specific industry program management, project management and technical delivery methodologies like those based on the Project Management Institute, system and software development, product development, or Agile frameworks such as scrum
• Proven experience working as a project and program manager, leading customer-facing IT consulting projects and change initiatives
• Ability to affect, inspect, and adapt company culture
• Demonstrated ability to motivate the project team and individual contributors and mediate conflicts
• Experience using various project management and agile tools, frameworks, and methodologies
• Excellent customer-facing and internal communication skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, inclusive of the ability to communicate and integrate with executive level customer personas
• Solid organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to handle multiple priorities
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Ability to travel frequently to work alongside customers and visit customer sites
• Scrum master, lean, product management, and project management certifications and Computer Science training are a plus
The salary range for this position is $116,270.00 - $191,840.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

What You Will Bring:
5 years of experience as a sales engineer, consultant, solutions architect, or a relevant role; experience in presales
Ability to present and have technical and business discussions with C-level executives
How to translate technical requirements into proposals, presentations, standard demos, workshops, etc. for customers
Knowledge of UNIX or Linux systems, preferably in Red Hat platform like Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Red Hat Network Satellite, orother related technologies Knowledge of open source cloudInfrastructure-as-a-Service(IaaS) and Platform-as-a Service (PaaS) solutions like Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Red Hat Openshift Container Platform, or related community projects

The salary range for this position is $185,590.00 - $296,870.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
