Senior Algorithm Engineer


Job title:

The Senior Algorithm Engineer will lead end-to-end algorithm research and development processes, ensuring high-quality deliverables throughout the product lifecycle. This role is responsible for developing innovative algorithmic solutions, optimizing performance across CPU and GPU platforms, applying AI technologies to develop next-generation algorithms, and implementing high-performance computing techniques. The engineer will be familiar with clinical applications of CT image post-processing, understand customer needs, and rapidly develop and iterate software solutions to meet customer requirements. The engineer will address legacy issues through technological innovation while maintaining superior code quality, following established quality system development processes to meet medical device regulatory requirements, and collaborating effectively across teams and stakeholders.


Your role:

Lead the technical direction of AI/ML projects and establish best practices

Architect sophisticated AI solutions and drive technical innovation

Solve complex technical challenges and optimize system performance

Mentor team members and provide technical leadership

Drive research initiatives and contribute to the company's IP portfolio

Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives

Evaluate new technologies and make strategic recommendations

Lead technical design reviews and quality assurance processes

Required Qualifications:

xtensive experience in AI/ML development and deployment

Deep expertise in machine learning theory and practical applications

Strong track record of leading complex AI projects to successful completion

Extensive experience with deep learning frameworks and distributed computing

Excellence in system design and performance optimization

Strong communication skills and ability to influence technical decisions

Skills & Requirements:

Advanced proficiency in C++ programming, including performance optimization techniques

Strong Python development skills for prototyping and data analysis

Experience with deep learning frameworks, especially PyTorch

Familiarity with other machine learning/AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or scikit-learn

Experience with GPU programming (CUDA) for algorithm acceleration

Knowledge of high-performance computing principles and parallel programming

Understanding of image processing algorithms and techniques, particularly for medical imaging

Experience with software development methodologies and version control systems (Git)

Ability to develop and maintain clean, well-documented, and tested code

Knowledge of CT image clinical post-processing applications

Strong English documentation writing skills for technical specifications, research reports, and user guides

Ability to create clear and comprehensive technical documentation for both internal and external use

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Sales, Key Account Manager - Cardiac & Vascular Image Guided Therapy (Cleveland)

As the Cardiac & Vascular Key Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for the customer service line leaders in the cardiovascular, surgery and operating room departments. Primarily responsible for the core products, which includes Image Guided Therapy (IGT), Mobile Surgery C-Arms and Services. You will also work collaboratively with our Image Guided Therapy Devices (IGT-D), Cardiovascular Ultrasound (CV Ultrasound), and Enterprise Diagnostic Informatics in Cardiology (EDI Cardiology) teammates. You will work closely with your account manager counterparts in Precision Diagnosis (CT, MRI, DXR) and Connected Care Patient Monitoring along with Account Executives, Specialists, Services and Solutions to identify, develop, and close opportunities in Philips installed, competitive installed, and new construction labs and operating rooms.
Your role:

  • Establish territory growth plans and strategic initiatives and translates them into clear objectives and targets. Develop and continually refine business strategy for key accounts, customers, and territory to achieve sales targets. Understands and clearly articulates the broader Philips portfolio of offerings to include products, services, and solutions within and across businesses and clusters, and matches clinical, technical, and economic value propositions with customer needs.

  • Document territory install base related to the solutions represented, establish plan to address all assigned accounts within the territory to include breakthrough competitive accounts, segment strategy and understand the market potential of your territory. Drive sales process by uncovering compelling customer events, engaging stakeholders, and escalating as appropriate. Understand sales stages and ability to navigate sales process by aligning to customer buying journey.

  • Strong knowledge of competitive landscape, such as business models, product features, service offerings, and positioning.

You're the right fit if:

  • You’ve acquired 5+ years of Medical Capital Sales Experience - required.

  • Your skills include deep knowledge of the CV Portfolio.

  • You have a BS/BA Degree in related discipline, or equivalent experience.

  • Demonstrated Solution Selling and execution skills in a complex team selling environment

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

  • Must reside within commuting distance to Cleveland with ability to travel overnight up to 25%
