

The Role:
Reporting to the ANZ Communications Director, the candidate will likely possess 8-10 years of experience in entertainment, tech, media, corporate or agency settings. Of particular interest are candidates with backgrounds in the entertainment sector, with the ability to build proactive campaigns, write company narratives, and understand advocacy work by partnering closely with the policy team. You’ll need the ability to think strategically, be curious but cool under fire, and able to build and maintain stellar relationships with internal and external partners.
The candidate must:
Have a global mindset and good business acumen, preferably with experience of working for multinational brands.
Have excellent news judgement as well as very strong writing and communication skills.
Love entertainment and the prospect of delivering stories from all over the world to people all over the world.
Proactively identify, map and preempt opportunities and challenges that could enhance or hurt the Netflix brand
Write and shape our key corporate communications materials including brand narrative.
Translate Netflix’s overall communications strategy into action-oriented initiatives and effectively manage and execute multiple projects effectively
Be an all-rounder with an ability to work cross-functionally and build relationships inside and outside the organisation.
Be a self-starter who comes up with new approaches and is eager to try those out.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of Account Managers responsible for pre-to-post sale campaign execution in partnership with Agency Sales Partners
Partner with aligned Sales Director(s) to develop and execute sales strategies and packaging to meet revenue targets and drive business growth
Develop, document and rollout new processes and workflows that create efficiencies for day-to-day Account Management responsibilities
Partner with cross-functional teams including Ad Ops, Product, Research, Ads Marketing, etc. on key projects & initiatives as we build and scale our Advertising Business
Provide regular updates to sales counterparts on client feedback, campaign performance, optimization recommendations, booking trends, etc.
Develop training and education strategies for Account Management including onboarding and ongoing learning & development
Work closely with FP&A on ensuring accurate revenue forecasting, reporting, upfront tracking, etc.
Ability to navigate client and campaign escalations and drive long-term solutions to proactively address future concerns
Analyze sales data to measure performance and identify areas for improvement
Establish and maintain relationships with key clients and media agencies
We’re Looking for:
7+ years of experience in Account Management and Sales Planning functions in the digital media industry, with a focus on video advertising
Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven track record of managing direct reports
Excellent understanding of Sales Operations and pitch-to-pay systems and workflows
Deep knowledge of digital media sales, including Direct IO, Programmatic Advertising and CTV
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities with the ability to make data digestible for cross-functional stakeholders
Familiarity with industry tools and software, including ad servers, DSPs, and CRM systems
Deep understanding of Advertising Measurement vendors
