The day-to-day:
- Develop and implement AI models and algorithms to enhance Kaltura’s video SaaS products.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and designers to integrate AI features seamlessly into the product.
- Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and drive data-informed decisions.
- Build predictive models to improve user experience, engagement, and retention.
- Design and conduct experiments to validate the impact of AI features on product performance.
- Continuously monitor and optimize AI models in production to ensure high performance and accuracy.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning to bring innovative solutions to Kaltura.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Ideally, we’re looking for:
- 7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI roles.
- 5+ years of management experience
- Proficiency in LLM/NLP- a must
- Proficiency in in programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Solid understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.
- Experience working with large datasets and distributed computing (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
These would also be nice:
- Experience with video technology and SaaS products is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. PhD is a plus.

- Develop and implement AI algorithms and models to solve complex problems.
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate AI solutions into Kaltura’s products and services.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning technologies.
- Publish research findings in top-tier conferences and journals.
- Mentor and collaborate with other team members on AI projects.
- Evaluate and improve the performance of AI models and systems.
- Assist in the deployment and scaling of AI models in production environments.
Ideally, we’re looking for:
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling.
- Proven experience in conducting research and publishing papers in reputable conferences and journals.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with video technology and applications is a plus.
These would also be nice:
- Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and computer vision.
- Knowledge of big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark.
