As a Control Manager in the Markets Sales and Trading team, you will lead quality assurance activities that support our supervisory framework and compliance objectives. • Plan and execute quarterly Markets Business Control Management assurance activities
• Partner with the Quality Assurance Program Owner to review scope and update documentation for approval
• Manage objectives, scope, sampling methodology, scoring methodology, quality thresholds, results reporting, tracking of corrective actions, and record retention
• Execute testing pre-work and analyze results, overseeing findings reports with suggested actions
• Act as the oversight contact for the offshore Quality Assurance team and handle escalations
• Conduct interviews during the Quality Assurance cycle and create presentations of results for different audiences
• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions and levels throughout the organization
• Mentor and provide guidance to offshore colleagues
• Monitor and track findings through to resolution
• Present at senior forums as a delegate for the Quality Assurance Program Owner

• Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team

  Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Deep understanding of Markets Sales or Trading business
• Experience in the financial services industry with a background in audit, assurance, controls, operational risk management, compliance, or equivalent subject matter expertise in a relevant business-related function or operation
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Visio
• Knowledge of data analytics using Microsoft Excel, Alteryx, or Python

Job responsibilities

• Track and understand trends by analyzing booked fees and pipeline activity. Provide insights on drivers of change to F&BM partners and management team
• Analyze competitor data, in particular league tables, to benchmark JPMorgan’s performance against other competitors and assist the management team in understanding underlying trends
• Provide regular updates to senior management on P&L, new mandates and missed deals, revenue forecast, headcount tracking, potential risk areas
• Prepare content used in Business Reviews and Town Halls.
• Build and/or maintain various databases to monitor proprietary deal-related information not available in public sources to facilitate enhanced business analyses
• Assist with ad-hoc requests and projects to support the growth and development of our business

Job responsibilities

• Maintain an alert posture on local, regional, and global crisis incidents identified and communicated by the Global Security Operations Center
• Support local and regional stakeholders in coordinating the response to incidents, assist in communication as needed, and completing after action review reports
• Establish and maintain proficiency in Business Resiliency to ensure consistency in program execution and confident direction to stakeholders while building knowledge of the supported HR functions
• Meet FBR standards of required content and renewals of HR resiliency documents (e.g., Business Resiliency Plans (BRP))
• Lead and coordinate business participation and completion of resiliency testing as required by HR objectives and FBR standards (e.g., tabletop exercises, physical testing, etc.)
