  • Supervise and coach a team of transaction specialists, ensuring efficient processing of document transactions and extraction of checks and remittances.
  • Oversee remittance processing operations, setting daily production goals, delegating work, and evaluating performance to maximize productivity and quality.
  • Resolve operational issues and escalate process delays to management, while fostering a collaborative and engaged team environment.
  • Review data to identify and resolve procedural issues, ensuring compliance with guidelines and assisting junior team members.
  • Manage or participate in projects aimed at enhancing operations and customer experience, utilizing knowledge in artificial intelligence and automation.
  • Coach, train, and mentor team members to develop leadership and operational talent for future success.
Required qualifications, skills, and capabilities
  • Intermediate knowledge of remittance processing or equivalent operations experience with indirectly or directly leading front-line teams to deliver towards business priorities and objectives.
  • Ability to build, manage, and motivate empowered teams to deliver operational objectives and goals, including production, quality, and customer experience.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and assign work on teams, including applying critical thinking to make decisions with competing priorities or deadlines.
  • Intermediate understanding of artificial intelligence, prompt writing, and automation technologies and their potential to optimize operational and transaction processes.
  • Apply core leadership capabilities including planning, organization, motivation, problem solving, relationship building, conflict resolution, team building, and emotional intelligence.
  • This position may require you to work non-traditional hours and/or additional hours as business needs arise. Work schedule might be subject to change.
  • Physical requirements include but are not limited to sitting, standing, lifting up to 50 pounds and walking.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm and will rotate to 3rd shift and work 11:30 pm - 8:00 am during the months of January, June, September, and October, and April will be 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

  • Functional experience with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint

Job Description

You will lead a team of individuals having responsibilities as business analysts and product delivery who perform end to end projects from requirements gathering to UAT testing and maintenance post go live in the
Credit Riskenvironment. You will be responsible for driving the progress on your assigned projects while simultaneously overseeing the activities of your local team.

You will be asked to understand the needs of internal & external customers and deliver a set of products to elevate client service. This will require close partnership with business, design and technology partners across a diverse and complex technology stack. The operating model required to achieve this change will be different, requiring rapid experimentation, imaginative collaboration and well bounded testing to quickly evaluate solutions. Staying up to date with cutting edge approaches to service problems, both internal and external to the financial services industry will be critical to innovate. A passion for best in class service is essential.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Launch new products and features, test their performance and iterate quickly
  • Analysis, process mapping, data analysis and user interviews to define flows, pain points and needs.
  • Requirements: Capture/document user stories and requirements and front-end requirements for UX Design resources.
  • UAT / Testing – Manage the UAT of new features, ensuring adequate test criteria and end-user expectations are met.
  • Planning - Track and escalate project milestones, dependencies and risks to all audiences, incl. senior stakeholders.
  • Own communication of project progress and completion within the DCS Organization.
  • Effectively and efficiently plan and prioritize all deliverables and resources working across project(s) based on scope of work and project goals.
  • Coordinate the agenda of the local team to ensure work is progressing as planned, providing guidance and direction to achieve project goals.
  • Promote teamwork and a collaborative work environment.
  • Identify training needs, track performance, coach and motivate team members.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant program / project management experience.
  • Knowledge of multiple operational areas within Bank Industry, specially in Credit Risk.
  • Management experience, ability to guide and coordinate resources to provide guidance and direction.
  • Strong problem solving, collaboration, communication and presentation skills. With proven ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Must be able to prioritize workloads, multitask, and react quickly to consistently changing business expectations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A track record in managing ambitious strategic and operationally simultaneous complex projects with competing priorities delivered by cross-functional teams.
  • Comfortable with Design Thinking framework, lean start up and familiarity with user-centered practices, UX design and product ideation.
  • Proven analytical aptitude, including ability to mine and analyze large, complex data set.
  • Familiarity with JIRA and Agile project management methodology, comfortable with managing delivery of functionality and features through development and design sprints.
  • Strong problem-solving and problem identification skills to pre-empt obstacles and conflicts.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team player, with an ability to build effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
