Job Description

The Market Management and Product Expansion Team serves as the market leaders with deep knowledge of ‘ocal requirements and needs helping shape product strategy for market and expand the Treasury Services footprint.

As a Product Manager within the JP Morgan’s Treasury Services’ Product Management team, you will be responsible for implementing the firm’s strategy, product capability and development in United Arab Emirates as well as more broadly supporting the Treasury Services franchise in the Middle East region. The role involves implementing the firm's strategy, product capability, and development in the UAE, supporting the Treasury Services franchise in the Middle East, and collaborating with various stakeholder groups. This role is crucial in shaping product strategy and expanding the Treasury Services footprint.

Job Responsibilities

  • Owns and support Product roll out and market adoption.
  • Serves as ‘voice of the market’ to ensure regulatory requirements & needs of clients, partners, Sales are prioritized.
  • Supports EMEA Product management with required market approvals and requirements (local government, regulators and regional nuances).
  • Develops and maintains strong, long-term relationships with key client stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Tailors and executes commercialisation activities and collateral to fit / resonate with the market.
  • Ensures Product is ready to release in the market by obtaining sign off, interfacing with Regulators, and working with partners to vet ‘local’ readiness
  • Stays informed about industry developments and emerging trends to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Assumes responsibilty for growth market by advocating for expansion and driving business targets
  • Represents J.P. Morgan Payments in front of the Regulators, Industry events and client meetings, showcasing our capabilities and thought leadership

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Able to demonstrate the required level of experience in Treasury Services, Corporate Banking, and relationship management
  • Possesses knowledge and understanding of Payments products.
  • Self-starter with demonstrated track record in successfully leading large scale programs which have organization wide impact, through collaborative efforts with other constituents who may have different backgrounds, risk understanding, skill sets and priorities.
  • Familiarity with payment systems and protocols and Product management – Channels, Liquidity, Core Cash etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a time-sensitive environment while multi-tasking is a must have.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as negotiation skills.
  • Superb attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Effective collaboration, relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Commercially minded individual with creative problem solving, capable of developing innovative and differentiated solutions.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and conflicting priorities.
  • High level of financial literacy is essential from understanding of Asset / Liability, Balance Sheet, Large Exposure and deposit placement, Risk stripes.

Job Summary:

To be based in Abu Dhabi, the role will cover key franchise and prospect names in the MENA region. The Platform Sales Manager is responsible for actively managing client strategic relationship and profitability, understanding client needs, increasing prospecting for new clients and developing incremental sales revenue, cultivating and broadening client intimacy, creating strong references and presenting and developing appropriate product solutions. This is done in accordance with client retention and incremental sales plans.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assuming full responsibility for managing all aspects of the client relationship
  • Identifying opportunities to increase revenue through product development and cross selling CIB products maintaining and growing the existing book
  • Ownership of all Legal & commercial negotiation under supervision of Lead Sales Manager
  • In depth knowledge of the client's business strategies and objectives, ensuring wherever possible that J.P. Morgan contributes in the fulfilment of those objectives
  • Briefing notes preparation working with global colleagues to pull together global view of relationships where appropriate
  • Contributing directly to the line of business revenue targets through growth across client portfolio
  • Develop strategy for prospect penetration including researching the names thoroughly
  • Create sales plans, playbooks and calling schedules
  • Work with other bank partners across LOBs to seek an introduction to prospect
  • Management of Client Financials including close monitoring of run rates and liaison with Business Management and Product Controllers
  • Use of MY revenue tool and creating revenue estimates and projections and pulling global report
  • Ownership of all team SCRIBE deals ensure approval and forecast management, where relevant presenting deals in New Deal Approval Forum
  • Monitoring quarter-end Cash balances and liaison with Client PM’s and Head of Cash Management to have balances at appropriate levels
  • Working with Client Service Management, Product Management & Operations Groups to assist in driving product development and addressing product gap

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Proven sales record preferred or previous roles with a client facing component
  • Prior experience in sales & relationship management function within a financial services organisation
  • Direct relevant market client segment (Asset Managers/Asset Owners) and Securities Services product experience
  • Effective people and interpersonal skills and experience
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Available to travel (at least 25%)
