Job responsibilities

• Pitching material preparation: Work with associates and analysts across regional locations to prepare marketing materials for clients including components like market and industry landscapes, financial analysis & valuations, target companies profiles & benchmarking, descriptive memorandums, management presentations, board presentations and other materials
• Financial analysis: analyze and interpret financial statements; perform full valuation analyses which include building and maintenance of complex financial models to perform valuations under different scenarios, trading comparables, precedent transactions, etc.; prepare transaction impact analyses such as earnings accretion/dilution and value creation / synergies; and put together financial and operating benchmarking analyses for companies; among others. • Research: Source and interpret company & industry information from a variety of data sources (company reports, Internet, online databases, JPMorgan proprietary content) with an aim to forming views on the industry, key trends and individual companies. Summarize and synthesize news updates/research reports on priority clients, weekly industry reports; updates for ongoing Equity mandates, for internal and external use
• Management Reporting: provide weekly updates to senior management on deals announced/closed/priced, new mandates, client calling efforts by bankers, sector update news, and in general monitor other relevant management metrics across the region

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Support firmwide legal, regulatory and compliance matters related to ADA, accessibility, and EVP laws for both business and legal clients, including:
  • Researching state and federal case law concerning ADA and EVP and the potential impact to JPMC
  • Interpreting ADA- and EVP-related policies and standards, facilitating line of business impact assessments, and guiding responses to regulatory inquiries
  • Collaborating with Government Relations to evaluate and mitigate legal risks from ADA and EVP legislative developments.
  • Assisting in evaluating ADA accommodation requests and formulating effective accessibility-related customer responses
  • Contributing to initiatives that empower elder and vulnerable customers, including Trusted Contact programs, community outreach, and consumer education events.

Qualifications:

• JD or educational equivalent, and compliance with all relevant attorney licensing requirements, including requirements of the jurisdiction where the role will be located prior to commencement of employment
• A minimum of three years of legal or equivalent experience, with significant experience in financial regulatory environments being highly desirable
• Familiarity or experience with one or more of the following is preferred:
  • The ADA and/or related state accessibility laws and regulations
  • Protections for elder and vulnerable individuals against financial exploitation
  • Consumer banking and consumer financial services laws

As a Digital & Platform Services - Markets Operations Finance Management Associate within the Finance Management team, you will partner across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting. You will be responsible for key financial measures such as expenses, headcount, or financial and headcount modeling, delivering value-added financial reporting and analysis, and assisting with strategic direction and decision-making. You will provide leadership across the finance teams and interact regularly with Operations or Technology Managers and peers across Finance & Business Management.

The key responsibilities of the role include:
