

As a Systems Engineer, you will support global project teams in designing system architecture, managing requirements, and performing component and system testing. Working in a cross-functional team, you’ll help develop integrated mechatronic systems for automotive applications, combining hydraulic systems with motors, controllers, and software. Our requirements:
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering or related fields
Relevant experience of ideally 2-3 years in a similar position
Proficiency in reading technical drawings and ability to create, interpret schematics and diagrams
Able to navigate in CAD systems and able to understand FEA and CFD results
Practical experience in mechanical and hydraulic systems
Solid experience in common development tools (e.g. Matlab, Simulink)
Familiarity with tools which manage requirements (e.g. Doors, Helix) is a plus
Solid understanding of physical principles
Excellent team player with a proactive, hands-on attitude, strong communication and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in English (both spoken and written), while proficiency in German is highly preferred

PURPOSE & SCOPE

Perform macro and micro geometry design of gears and gear systems
Optimize gear tooth root geometry using FEA and fatigue models
