Responsibilities will include:

• Participating in planning, cost development, management, and scheduling for assigned projects.
• Leading the development of solutions to complex problems for municipal roadway projects, including design calculations and quality control
• Using computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks, including developing 3D models and performing highway geometry design using OpenRoads
• Coordinating with other disciplines to include: bridge, environmental, survey, and traffic
• Coordinating closely with contractors, owners, and discipline leads to drive project success.
• Providing technical guidance to junior engineers to further the team’s professional development

As a key member of our Nashville team, you’ll have the chance to challenge yourself andperform a variety of municipal drinking water and wastewater treatment work in the initial planning and design phase of projects. Working with other members of our team, you'll work on projects evaluating and selecting the best treatment approach to solve a client’s challenges and planning and designing treatment systems and plant improvements. Modeling interest is a plus. As part of our team, you will also have the opportunity to work with treatment processes that may include coagulation, rapid mix, flocculation, sedimentation, advanced biological treatment, granular media filtration, biological filtration, membrane filtration, disinfection, post-filter adsorption, emerging contaminant removal, residuals management, and other treatment processes.

As abased out of, work would include development and application of environmental and water resources analyses, to support local, regional, state, and federal water management planning and design studies; planning and design for water storage, conveyance, and distribution projects; performing research, technical writing, and development of documentation and studies as well as data collection, processing, and analysis to support water resources planning activities.
