• Providing strategic business development leadership, working closely with Jacobs Client Account Managers, Client Service Leaders, and Sales Operations teams in pursuit of major transportation opportunities in the area. This is accomplished by advancing long-term existing relationships with transportation clients at the state, city and county levels, leading the development of execution strategies, supporting proposal and presentation preparation activities and, developing and applying lessons learned during contract execution. This also includes supporting the development and periodic update of client account plans for work in this arena.

• Have overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project . Lead the planning, staffing, scheduling, budget management, quality control, safety, and organization of internal technical and support staff, and subcontractors for the project.

• Providing expertise in developing concepts for programs and design approaches for major phases of large highway infrastructure projects, including Design-Build and Public-Private Partnerships. Extensive participation in internal team meetings/workshops and client workshops is anticipated.

• Coordination with all complimentary disciplines (roadway, drainage, structural, traffic, public involvement and environmental), technical preparation and supervision of roadway and planning design tasks, perform plan quality reviews, participate in value engineering studies.

• Represents Jacobs at meetings, presentations, and public hearings relative to assigned projects. You’ll be leading a multi-discipline team of peer employees and consultants to complete tasks within established schedules, budgets, using a variety of delivery models including but no limited to Design Bid Build, Design Assist and Progressive Design Build, as well as utilizing your experience to execute project strategies. You will be responsible for overall project delivery on multiple project assignments (cost, schedule, quality, information, contracts). You’ll play an integral role in engaging between project client, Architect of Record, General Contractor, among others. Your leadership skills is a key responsibility in fostering collaborative communications and relationships. In this role, you will manage project development experience from programming through completion in accordance with program objectives. In this role you’ll assist and manage a variety of capital improvement projects for our client utilizing your project management experience. Typical projects range from $1M - $50M, with opportunities for larger capital developments as they’re programmed ($250M - $1B+). The work includes acting as a single point of contact for projects throughout the planning, budgeting, design, review, construction and inspection processes; monitoring project costs ensuring projects meet budget constraints; updating and ensuring the project stays on schedule and that the schedule is regularly briefed with the client; and ensuring that the project contractors complete the scope of the project within specifications.
