Join us, and you’ll have the opportunity to design and develop state-of-the-art facilities for clients in diverse markets such as specialty chemicals, industrial fermentation, pulp and paper, batteries, and electric vehicles. As you lead a team of process engineers, you’ll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks while gaining familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You’ll work with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to establish a process design basis, develop an optimized process, create models and calculations, and generate process drawings. You’ll also have the chance to utilize your technical expertise to mentor junior team members and help your team discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose and guiding them forward. This position will:
- Perform conceptual and detailed design for diverse industries such as specialty chemicals, pulp and paper, or batteries.
- Use best practices and industry knowledge to solve complex engineering problems.
- Interface with other disciplines, project management, and the client to provide fully coordinated projects.
- Support field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks.
- Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on basic engineering applications and principles.
- Participate in the development of proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific work.
