Position Overview:

The Lead Sales Administrator will support the Sales Director in managing and optimizing the sales administration processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. This role requires a highly organized professional with excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail. The Lead Sales Administrator will oversee the sales support team, ensuring that all administrative functions related to the sales department run smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Support Management:
    • Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the sales support team.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact between the sales team and management.
  2. Administrative Functions:
    • Assist the Sales Director with scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, and preparing reports.
    • Manage sales documentation, including contracts, proposals, and correspondence.
  3. Data Management:
    • Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system with accurate sales data.
    • Compile and analyze sales reports to provide insights and trends to the Sales Director.
  4. Process Improvement:
    • Identify areas for improvement in the sales processes and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
    • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all sales administration tasks.
  5. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, finance, and logistics, to ensure cohesive operations.
    • Attend sales meetings to provide updates and feedback from administrative perspectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales administration or similar roles, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
