We are seeking a motivated to join our growing team in Latin America. This role is designed for an ambitious professional who will support the regional sales organization by generating leads, assisting in the sales cycle, and building strong client relationships. The Junior Sales Manager will be a key contributor to expanding Flywire’s footprint in the education sector across Latin America, with a strong focus on Mexico.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the full sales cycle by assisting in prospecting, lead qualification, and follow-up with prospective clients.
  • Execute lead generation activities to constantly feed the pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM and track pipeline progress.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior Sales Managers to develop tailored solutions that address client needs.
  • Gain a deep understanding of Flywire’s product offering and value proposition.
  • Reflect Flywire’s values in all internal and external communication.
  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, solution consulting, partnerships, operations) to ensure seamless client engagement.
  • Continuously improve through coaching, feedback, and self-learning.

Here's What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Previous experience in a commercial, business development, or sales support role (internship or 2–4 years experience preferred).
  • Understanding of the higher education industry in Mexico is a strong plus.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong teamwork spirit and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and deliver on deadlines.
  • Comfortable creating and delivering presentations.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office Suite; Mac applications knowledge is a plus.
  • Bilingual: must be fluent in Spanish and comfortable communicating in English.

This position reports to the VP, Sales, EDU LATAM

The Opportunity

Flywire is seeking a strategically minded Business Development Manager (BDM), Agent Partnerships in Mexico to focus on identifying and signing up new agent partners, in addition to developing deeper relationships with existing clients. This role involves gaining a deep understanding of potential partners' businesses and aligning Flywire’s products and services with their objectives. The goal is to build new partnerships, grow existing relationships, increase the utilisation of our platforms, and ultimately drive revenue.

Reporting directly to the Director, Agent Partnerships, ANZ, SEA and LATAM, the BDM, Agent Partnerships will work closely with Sales, Implementation, and Client Optimization teams to execute strategies designed to drive growth, uncover new business potential, increase revenue, and ensure our partners have the best payment experience and support in the industry.

In this role, you will represent a key driver of growth potential within the overall Mexico business. You will focus on signing up new agent partners, identifying growth opportunities within the market, and maximising revenues through Flywire’s services and integrations. You will also help identify strategic partnerships for the Mexico market, including growth and optimization strategies for our new partner network. You will focus on the execution of strategies and tactics designed to increase user growth, support existing clients, improve retention, identify opportunities for improvement, develop local agent networks, provide accurate and timely issue resolution and assure EDU Agents understand Flywire’s platform.

  • Adopt a data-driven approach, working alongside Client Analysts, to spot potential risks before they materialise and create a ‘no drama’ environment.

  • Project management: delivery and implementation of our solutions, working together with our product, technical, and operational departments (Client Success and Implementation teams, etc.).
  • Foster global collaboration and connectivity within Flywire, breaking down geographical barriers.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing on additional efforts (forums, partner referrals, etc.).
  • Organise materials and attend events and expos where Flywire is present.

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure there is a clear understanding of objectives and escalate support requests or issues as appropriate.
  • Contribute to a successful culture by supporting each team member’s plan and strategy on their individual accounts to achieve KPIs and revenue goals.
  • Collaborate on territory and account distribution among the sales team.
  • Participate in setting goals and KPIs.

Evolved Learning

  • Keep up to date with product enhancements and present products and services to agents and partners in an informative, educational, and consultative manner.
  • Contribute to internal projects as assigned, building up specific areas of expertise that can benefit the whole team (where appropriate).
  • Track all activities and opportunities in CRM and ensure database integrity, holding yourself accountable for having all activities and opportunity funnel tracked in CRM.

  • 5 years or more of experience in International Education outbound.

The Opportunity:

We, at Flywire, are looking for a strategic minded
Senior Key Account Manager , in our LATAM region, reporting to Managing Director LATAM, to work within an existing portfolio of education key accounts. As a senior member of our LATAM team, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, fostering client satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for expansion within your portfolio of accounts through the implementation of key account management best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the strategy for growing and protecting Flywire’s Key Accounts in LATAM, keeping account plans aligned with client goals.

  • Project manage strategic initiatives to achieve clients' business objectives.

  • Coordinate Client Optimization teams to maximize client utilization of functionalities.

  • Identify new opportunities for Flywire products and services and own the upsell process.

  • Organize and prioritize revenue-driving activities.

  • Manage proposal writing, contract negotiations, and renewals.

  • Collaborate with Client Success and Solution Consultants to understand client operations.

  • Oversee deployment of Flywire assets with Implementation and Client Success teams and coordinate the work of broader account team, ensuring there is a clear understanding of what we are trying to achieve with a client and escalating support requests or issues as appropriate

  • Create a cadence of client connections across function and department to keep a pulse on the client and their key stakeholders, managing any risks which may arise, and documenting engagement through stakeholder mapping

  • Provide insights on the LATAM market and identify new growth opportunities.

  • Mentor other Account Managers on best practices and strategies.

  • Ability to digest and convey complex industry related information/best practices and, in doing so, become a trusted advisor to the client

  • Provide expertise and insight to leadership on the LATAM market and play a key role in identifying new growth opportunities in the region and building pipeline for the portfolio

Here’s What We're Looking For:

  • 6+ years of proven experience in client/account management or sales, preferably in a global or multinational organization

  • Experience in consultative sales; the ability to build rapport quickly, identify and diagnose business problems, demonstrate products remotely, or in person, and meet the specific customer needs with effective solutions

  • Experience managing and developing relationships with executive and key decision makers

  • A natural project manager, organizing the process of capturing revenue from the account; Comfortable coordinating the plan, the people on the team, and making sure everything gets done

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
