• Computes material requirements for job orders and manages requisitioning and delivery schedules to optimize inventory.
• Examines and verifies that materials delivered conform to specifications before distribution to production departments.
• Maintains accurate manual and computerized inventory records, including status and location of materials.
• Creates, updates, and analyzes various reports to support data-driven decision-making and action plans.
• Administers inventory cycle count programs, resolving discrepancies and ensuring accurate inventory levels.
• Conducts internal and external transfers of materials to support production schedules and maintain stock levels.
• Investigates unusual material usage and suggests corrective actions to resolve inventory issues.
• Verifies accuracy of material kits against pick lists and tracks defect levels to enhance quality performance.

• Examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications.
• Arranges in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules, moving or transporting materials from one department to another.
• Compiles and maintains both manual and computerized records such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and status and location of materials.
• Creates, updates, executes, and analyzes reports.
• Gathers data, tracks, posts, and pitches for action plans and root analysis.
• Examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications.
• Monitors and controls movement of material and parts for accurate inventory.
• Administers the inventory cycle count program, reconciles discrepancies, resolves issues, and analyzes inventory cycle count reports.
• Performs internal transfers in the warehouse, and external transfers between warehouses/areas.
• Identifies parts and supplies that need to be ordered to maintain specified stocking levels.
• Analyzes stock usage and defines correct stocking levels.
• Investigates unusual high usage of materials and parts and suggests methods of correcting problem found.
• Stocks and issues materials or merchandise.
• In charge of for adding new part numbers to current inventory based on input from manufacturing.
• Verifies the accuracy of the material kit vs. the pick list for correct parts by checking that all parts are packaged and contained in the kit.
• Tracks defect levels on inspected kits, calculates quality performance, charts results, develops process improvements and schedules work of others.
