Responsibilities:
Consults with all departments on design and use of equipment, fire prevention and safety programs.
Examines plans and specifications for new machinery or equipment to define if all safety precautions have been included.
Tours plant to inspect fire and safety equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Define requirements for safety clothing and devices, and designs, builds, and installs or directs installation of safety devices on machinery.
Conducts or coordinates safety training to educate workers about emergency acknowledge, safety policies, laws and practices.
Investigates industrial accidents to minimize recurrence and prepares accident reports.
Conducts air quality tests for presence of harmful gases and vapors.
In charge of identifying health and safety hazards and recommending corrective actions.
Serves as internal consultant to business units on ergonomics, hazardous materials, industrial hygiene and fire and chemical safety matters.
Audits business units.
Interfaces with outside vendors, contractors and engineers regarding facilities, chemicals and other workplace health and safety related matters.
Compiles and submits safety reports.
Administers workers compensation, OSHA 2000 log and return to work program.
QualificationsTypically requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environment or Health Sciences or equivalent experience in EH&S and knowledge of related regulations, codes, and guidelines.
Master’s degree preferred.
Typically requires a minimum of 7+ years of experience in EH&S or related position.
Managing people / Direct reports experience preferred.

Responsibilities:
Review project scope and develop a project schedule to establish action items and scheduled dates for each action item; communicate schedule with internal departments including engineering, purchasing, production, inventory, and quality control

What a typical day looks like:
Establish project schedule, financial parameters, and technical requirements, managing project from initiation through transfer.

5+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably within the Utility Industry , Substation Engineering , or Telecom sectors .
Experience managing internal and external projects simultaneously.
Strong background working with low-voltage, medium-voltage switchgear,and Relay Protection and Control Panelsproducts.
Familiarity with CRM systems,ERP Systems, Oracle , 8 Connects , Microsoft Office Suite , Power BI , and Power Automate .
Budget management and project financial tracking experience.
Strong organizational and critical thinking skills, with the ability to drive influence across a matrix environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for customer-facing interactions.

Key accountabilities are as follow:

Direct and organize EHS-related projects for the site to include:
Serve as EHS Engineer for site:

“Champion” the Safety Committee and act as a resource to sub committees.
Responsible for leading cross-functional safety teams and work groups as required.
Assist in the day-to-day activities and communications regarding Safety.

Training:

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Health and Safety, Safety Engineering, Environmental Health, or related field required; relevant experience may be substituted for education.
At least 3-5 years of occupational health and safety experience in an industrial environment required, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
Prior certification in AED, First Aid/CPR, and OSHA standards preferred
