As a Databricks Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will be the technical authority and hands-on expert driving the design, development, and optimization of the data platform on the Databricks Unified Analytics platform.


You will work closely with enterprise architects, data engineers, and SAP BDC teams to leverage Databricks’ capabilities for scalable ETL, advanced analytics, and AI/ML workloads. Your key responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end data architecture strategy across SAP BDC initiatives, including data modeling, transformation, and governance.

Position

As a statistical analyst within QUEST, you’ll provide statistical advisory services to private and public-sector clients for the purposes of establishing federal, state, and international tax positions, supporting regulatory compliance, enhancing internal controls and business processes, and providing audit and litigation support services. Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax, Law or a related field and 2 years of work experience in Tax and/or Financial Planning. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Tax, Law or related field and 1 year of work experience in Tax and/or Financial Planning.Must have 1 year of experience in a professional services firm, or mid-sized/regional to large sized/national public accounting firm.

Must have 1 year of experience in 3 or more of the following: federal and state personal and trust taxation; flow through entities (S-Corps, Partnerships and LLCs); C-Corps including income tax provisions and consolidated federal and state tax returns; and/or high net-worth tax planning.

Must have 1 year of experience in conducting tax law research.

Must have 1 year of experience in one of the following automated tax processing systems: GoSystems, CS Planner, Excel, and/or Checkpoint SurePrep.

Must have 1 year of experience delegating work to junior tax professionals and reviewing their drafts.
