Your Key Responsibilities

  • Being responsible for AR ledgers of a group of countries in the region:
  • Interacting with AR Cash application team to provide them with accurate information on the required allocation of certain client payments
  • Using your communication skills and process knowledge to obtain payment information from onshore finance teams and client serving teams
  • Following and developing a protocol to enable payment identification and timely allocation and using your problem-solving skills to try and build sustainable solutions to removing obstacles related to the payment allocation process
  • Proactively monitor unapplied cash and on account payments, conduct the necessary research to identify and apply these, and assist in cash application corrections
  • Investigate and resolve internal engagement team’s queries regarding allocation, reallocation, and checking of remittance in the bank statement
  • Working on client’s refund by obtaining necessary approvals and other process documents, coordinating with the firm’s AP department to ensure a timely resolution
  • Interacting with the firm’s IFM department to resolve payment allocation issues related to interfirm accounts
  • Process and ways of working development: constantly seeking better ways of working across the client engagement-to-cash lifecycle and working with engagement teams, the cash application team and other finance teams to help improve their processes and practices
  • Generating customer statements, balance confirmations etc; Working with client AP departments around account reconciliations

Skills And Attributes For Success

Analytical skills: ability to oversee client- and payment related information to identify issues and to ensure timely payment allocation and related problem solving

  • Communication skills: able to communicate effectively with other internal teams and stakeholders
  • Problem solving mindset: Able to constructively challenge existing approaches; Ability to influence local teams, internal functions and client organizations

To qualify, you must have

  • Graduate or higher degree in finance, business or related field
  • 2+ years of finance experience, with particular emphasis on accounts receivable, cash application, billing and collections
  • Experience using SAP
  • For internal candidate a knowledge of our engagement lifecycle with an understanding of our cash application processes
  • Drive to identify root cause issues and support remediation efforts, through a relentless problem-solving ethos

Requisitos

  • Graduado/a de carreras de Carreras de Comunicación, Marketing Digital, o afines.
  • Contar con 2 o más años de experiencia en gestión de proyectos digitales, utilizando herramientas de CMS (por ejemplo, AEM), implementando técnicas que influyan en el posicionamiento web (SEO) y en el análisis y presentación de métricas.
  • Nivel de inglés avanzado o nativo.

Your key responsibilities

You will spend your time supporting client engagements by coordinating with clients and internal team members, managing deadlines, and tracking engagement economics. You will be assisting clients in their financial digital processes (e.g. preparation and interpretation of year-end-closings, audit assistance, financial statements, etc.), tax compliance (corporate tax returns and VAT returns, etc.), general accounting, credit control and internal optimization projects. You will also be responsible for management reports, budgeting, analytical bookkeeping, financial health and competitors’ analysis.

You will be responsible for overall day to day requirements in client engagements, monitor progress and deliverables, put in place the necessary standardized processes, anticipate and identify risks, resolve or escalate issues as appropriate and drive performance-improvement solutions.

You will create, lead and motivate high performing teams and build a positive learning culture, coaching and counseling junior team members to help them develop. You will be responsible for managing engagement economics and communicating significant issues, fees and estimates-to-complete to partners and clients. You will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to our Tax Quality guidelines.

Skills and attributes for success

If you are an excellent communicator and detail-oriented professional with a strong track record of management experience who is comfortable working across borders with a wide network of people and with large amount of data, you will be perfect for the role.

To qualify for the role

  • A bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials in accounting, business, finance, taxation or any related essential fields.
  • MBA, master’s or another related advanced degree and/or professional qualifications e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally within a large professional services company or similar environment.
  • Extensive and in-depth knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards, relevant tax rules, procedures and guidelines.
  • Practical experience of regulatory topics including Prudential Reporting, Structural Reform; new accounting and compliance innovation; and/or Business audit skills.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience of dealing with multinational clients and ability to work in multi-cultural environment.
  • Experience and knowledge of tax compliance, financial reporting and ERP systems such as SAP.
  • Ability to win in the market, good negotiation skill and ability to work under challenging situations.
  • Demonstrated good understanding and capability of implementing accounting concepts.
