  • Understand client business needs and translate them into data architecture requirements.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics, Quantitative Economics, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or equivalent professional education.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience with a blue-chip consulting firm, 3+ of which in a data architecture position with client/ market facing responsibilities.
  • Prior experience leading data teams in a data leadership role, e.g. data team lead, data project lead, data workstream lead etc.
  • Solid experience in Enterprise Data Warehouse integration and reporting developing modern data platform solutions, data governance, architecture frameworks and processes.
  • Technical leadership and the ability to work with a wider group of architects, application teams and business teams to define and socialise architectural concepts and approaches.
  • Data architecture role(s) in major transformation programmes within the Financial Services sector.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end finance data, e.g. source systems, accounting engines, sub-ledgers, data integration layers, analytics and reporting platforms.
  • Knowledge of defining principles and guidelines for the design and management of finance data entities, finance data models and attributes across the Finance systems landscape.
  • Experience of working with existing finance logical data model from package vendors (e.g. Teradata and IBM) and new cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS and Azure.
  • Understanding of the current technology and data challenges and trends in Financial Services industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and leading medium to large data projects end-to-end.

Your key responsibilities


You will likely spend most of your time executing assignments which form part of our Global Mobility framework. In order to do so effectively, you will connect with colleagues around the world to understand the cyclical nature of the respective programs, business needs & assignment numbers. Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Preparation of relocation packages, including, but not limited to preparation of cost estimates, assignment contracts, processing expenses etc.
  • Work closely with home/host Mobility Consultant to provide overall assignment management for inbound and outbound assignments
  • Ensure appropriate approvals of mobility assignments
  • Work closely with internal departments (e.g. Talent team, Finance, Tax and Immigration) to ensure assignment is compliant
  • Work with external vendors to manage some aspects of relocation matters (e.g. home search)
  • Frequent communication with assignees to ensure their assignment is progressing as planned
  • Provide day to day advice on mobility related queries, including but not limited to mobility framework, international and domestic (if applicable) assignments, and application of relevant immigration and taxation legislation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key senior stakeholders from the business to assist with the delivery of Mobility to meet business objectives
  • Engage frequently with virtual Mobility support team to ensure necessary activities are executed as and when needed

  • Excellent communication, inter-personal and organisational skills, with the capacity to influence project teams towards successful delivery.
  • Progress towards professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA, or similar) or a commitment to achieving them.
  • Tertiary qualifications.
  • Experience with digital audit tools and enthusiasm for adopting cutting-edge technologies
