Digital Turbine is looking for a Sr. Sales Director to work on our Vertical Sales Team at a period of incredible growth for the company. This role will be covering Retail, QSR, CPG, Insurance, and Pharma verticals directly responsible for new revenue generation via agencies and brand-direct. This candidate will be selling Programmatic (self and managed-service) and Mobile On-Device. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of high quality and quantity sales output across all parts of the sales funnel including outreach, in-person meetings, building proposals, and closing deals. Having excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to articulate ideas that create material value for customers is a must for this role.
About the Senior Sales Director
    • Build a pipeline and close new business with the largest app platforms
    • Develop a complete mastery of Digital Turbine’s pitch, products, and the wider app advertising industry at large.
    • Identify, target, and acquire new clients via Direct and Agency relationships.
    • Drive new Private Marketplace revenue and meet quarterly revenue targets as set by managementCoordinate cross-functional teams from Sales, Client Services, and Technical Account Management.
    • Ensure optimal campaign delivery, performance, and executionHave a large appetite to learn your client’s business like it’s your own and match that with a deep understanding of Digital Turbine solutions to make the best recommendations.
    • Gather and share information for potential improvements and changes that can be added to the product roadmap during planning cyclesCraft proposals that showcase both your analytical rigors and strategic sales abilities.
    • Work with internal platform and supply stakeholders to connect the needs of our various customer constituencies
    • Seek and grow new relationships within client assignments
    • Work to create a personal market strategy
About you as the Senior Sales Director
    • At least 5 years of experience as a Senior Sales Executive, strong client relationships and understanding of the mobile app or general adtech ecosystem would be preferred.
    • The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of high quality and quantity sales output across all parts of the sales funnel including outreach, in-person meetings, building proposals, and closing deals.
    • Learner mindset, that can demonstrate how they have developed new skills or learned new areas of business in their career to date.
    • Comfortable selling into large matrixed organizations and gaining instant credibility.
    • An existing network or industry experience in ad tech or mobile apps is preferred.
    • Works well in a team/highly collaborative fast-paced environment.
    • Having excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to articulate ideas that create material value for customers is a must for this role.
$225,000 - $330,000 a year
The total compensation package (base salary + performance-based commission) for this position is $250,000-330,000
and is based on experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits structure, including stock options, unlimited PTO as well as a tech/wellness benefit. We believe in fostering an environment where employees are valued and compensated fairly for their contributions.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for customer retention, revenue growth, and expansion of product usages.
    • Own the strategic direction of our largest accounts.
    • Ability to respond to frequent demands of multiple customers - both internal and external
    • Work cross-functionally to meet partner needsCollaborate closely with Sales, Ops, and Supply teams to ensure the company delivers against client expectations
    • Serve as a subject matter expert in managed service, programmatic & UA operations
    • Comfortable leading client meetings
    • Summarize information and communicate concise updates to leadership.
    • Provide strategic advice and guidance to clients. Proactively identify and address client needs and concerns.
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications/Required Skills:
    • 3-5 years of online media, programmatic advertising or other advertising experience.
    • Ability to build rapport and grow relationships both via phone and in person with all customers.
    • Very strong analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Basic understanding of advertiser monetization landscape and ad operations a plus
    • Experience within DSP platforms IE: TTD, DV360 is a plus
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Comfortable with using large sets of data to craft a narrative that influences customer behavior.
    • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
    • Comfort and experience with a fast-paced start-up environment
    • Positive approach to challenging situationsStrong problem solving, influencing, and negotiating skills.
    • Professional maturity; high emotional IQ
$100,000 - $130,000 a year
, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
