Over the course of two to three years, you will join our organization as an Associate Inside Sales Representative where you’ll receive premier training from both a technology and sales perspective. From there, you can take your career to the next level in outside field sales, sales management, or a specialty selling role. Our Electrical Engineering team puts the spark into the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production. It takes experts in system architecture definition, design, analysis, prototyping, sourcing & the debugging and validation of layouts or routes to deliver state-of-the-art products for a changing world. We work closely with designers, cross-functional teams within Dell Technologies and suppliers to make sure electronic designs meet a range of requirements, including schedule, feature set, functionality and quality, as well as industry standards.
You will:
Provide technical planning guidance on key power system technologies and design development processes aimed at improving innovation, automation, agility, team efficiency, and quality; specify high-power/high density 48Vdc Intermediate Bus Conversion (IBC) products
Design power systems for Storage/Server products including power architecture design, CPU/DIMM VRD design and Intel CPU VRTT validations, power related analog circuit design, Li-ion battery charging/discharging circuit design; specify procured components and sub-assemblies, including dc/dc modules, dc/dc point-of-load converters, power semiconductor and passive components, battery backup systems
Provide technical program management to include proposal review, project planning, issue tracking and global supplier management (both power semiconductor suppliers and ODMs)
Essential Requirements
8+ years’ related experience (or equivalent skill) in Power Systems Design and Development including DC-DC Power Conversion, Power Distribution, Electrical Circuit Protection Features and Battery Chargers; must include knowledge of analog and digital circuit theory and principles
Proficiency in reading and understanding specifications, data sheets and other technical documents; advanced ability to write requirements, functional specifications, design specifications, tech plans and documentation; advanced proficiency with electrical simulation tools
Understanding of related power technologies, vendor products and industry offerings
Ability to identify potential product weaknesses and provide design recommendations for improvements
Desirable Requirements
Aptitude in embedded firmware and/or energy hold-up technologies (E.g., Li-Ion battery cell selection, supercapacitor-based designs)

Interface with third-party lab vendors to define and manage the test criteria and measurement items.
Collaborate with Quality, Service, and other support teams for Battery Device sustaining tasks to drive issue closure and win the best customer satisfaction after mass production.
Manage the healthiness of vendors' supportability and capability by performing regular technical reviewsquarterly.
Protect intellectual property. Drive idea generation for technology implementation in Dell platforms.
Essential Requirements
Bachelors EE Degree with 5+ years in Battery related experience. As a senior level power engineer, the successful candidate will possess a high degree of technical competence and expertise in Battery products, especially in the area of design, functionality, integration and technical specifications.
Good engineering leadership skills, Fluent in English communications and ability to work across global organizations.
Good knowledge about Battery designs, production, quality, and industry status.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Solid background in development processes, product test and auditing/reviewing of process capability.
Desirable Requirements
Design knowledge across multiple power devices (Adapter / PSU(Power Supply Unit) / Battery).
Experience working in a foreign company and be familiar with Dell culture.
