The objective of the ERMTP is to develop consistent and comprehensive enterprise-wide awareness and competency in risk and controls policy knowledge and to provide employees with the knowledge and skills to carry out risk management and control responsibilities relevant to their roles. The ERMTP is anchored to enterprise-wide policies and standards supporting the four pillars of Citi’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework: Culture and Conduct, Risk Governance, Risk Management (including Level 0 / Level 1 Risk Categories) and Enterprise Risk & Controls Programs. The ERMTP is designed to provide all Citi employees with access to learning modules to help them understand how they contribute towards Citi’s risk management strategy through adhering to the relevant policies which apply to their roles.

ERMTP is a cumulative training curriculum developed and deployed at five levels of complexity:

  • Foundational (All Citi employees): definitional knowledge of Citi’s Enterprise Risk Programs and Risk Categories (Level 0 / Level 1)
  • Basic (Leaders & Risk and Controls practitioners): overview of objectives and key concepts and terms of each of Citi’s Enterprise Risk Programs and Risk Categories (Level 0 / Level 1)
  • Intermediate & Advanced (Risk & Controls practitioners): more detailed targeted knowledge of applicable Enterprise Risk Programs and/or Risk Categories (Level 0 / Level 1)
  • Oversight (Leaders): executive level knowledge of Citi’s Enterprise Risk Programs and Risk Categories for those accountable for managing risk
  • Technical Skills (all applicable employees)

The Training Content Program Manager role is a risk management subject matter expert responsible for driving the development and delivery of training programscovering

Financial Risks - e.g., Operational Risk, Model Risk and Controls
. The incumbentreports directly to the Head of ERMTPwith day-to-day interactions with the Citi’s Risk & Control policy owners, senior leaders and Head of Risk and Controls Learning & Development. Asan integral part of Citi’s Risk Transformation,the incumbentis responsible for working across the organization to drive the development and sustainability of a comprehensive enterprise-wide risk management training curriculum promoting Citi’s Enterprise Risk Framework and supporting risk and control policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership to drive the design and development of enterprise-wide training content promoting Citi’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework and supporting risk and control policies.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of subject matter ofNon-
    Financial Risks- e.g., Operational Risk, Model Risk and Controls
    , to proactively identify opportunities,
    toharmonize training content across related risk and control topics to better illustrate end-to-end understanding of Citi’s risk and control policies and programs.
  • Partner with Risk & Controls Policy Owners and Learning Advisors to drive the annual ERMTP Training Needs Analysis (TNA), gap analysis and training planning process.
  • Partner with Risk & Control Policy Owners and First Line Unit senior leaders to determine target audiences based on policy applicability, level of complexity and risk role archetype (i.e., Risk Awareness, Risk Informed, Risk Generators, Risk & Control Practitioners, Risk Oversight and Risk & Control Skills Development).
  • Partner with Citi’s Learning & Development to drive training program development including delivery of subject matter content and monitor training completion and feedback from employees .
  • Maintain ERMTP standards, processes, and controls to ensure sustainability of the ERMTP, including but not limitedto monitoring training efficacy metrics, driving annual and driven TNA review and managing on-going change control process.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Demonstrate solid understanding of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Financial Risks, Non-Financial Risks, and Controls policies, standards, programs, and processes.
  • Leadership, critical thinking, and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Able to engage with multiple senior stakeholders, build and shape cross-functional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and program management skills with the ability to scope, direct and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Universitydegree
  • 10+ years of financial industry related experience, including experience in ERM, Risk Management, Controls, Internal Audit or Compliance
  • Strong ERM, Risk management, Controls, Audit or Compliance experience, with a working knowledge of Risk and Controls policies, standards, programs, and processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel

The Infrastructure Finance (IF) and Clean Energy Finance (CEF) Underwriter will cover large and complex relationships globally and will manage the underwriting process. The IF/CEF Underwriter will be responsible for all underwriting activities including credit memo production and transaction diligence. Developed
communication and diplomacy skills are also required in order to guide, influence and convince others across functional groups. An Infrastructure Finance and Clean Energy Finance Vice President in ICM-UW will cover various infrastructure assets across the globe via debt and tax equity financing. This role reports directly to the Head of IF and CEF Underwriting.

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with and support bankers in underwriting requests for credit extensions for new and existing clients with ownership responsibilities for sound credit decisions and compliance with internal procedures/credit risk policy guidelines and standards

  • Adoption of leading practices in credit analysis, underwriting, and monitoring, including the end-to-end underwriting process, from early origination discussions to development of credit approval memos, and senior approval forums

  • Prepare a detailed written credit analysis of transactions by analyzing the project company, performing detailed financial analysis, identifying the strengths and prevailing risk factors and rendering a final credit decision

  • Perform credit and financial statement analysis on borrowers, guarantors, and co-borrowers in order to assess debt repayment capacity based on cash flows

  • Perform industry and geographical research and other due diligence as needed.

  • Maintain compliance with bank credit policies/practices and regulatory policies to ensure business unit is in adherence to the above and receives satisfactory ratings from internal and external auditors.

  • Assists business unit goals by continuous identification of process improvements and efficiencies that reduce costs and improve customer service levels. Work with management team on prioritization and implementation of approved actions

  • Provide backup support to Credit Underwriting Group Manager, lead projects and initiatives and mentor junior level Credit Officers as needed.

  • Other duties as required to support business unit and company goals.

Qualifications:

LFU Analysts will be actively involved in Citi’s credit approval and origination process for leveraged finance transactions, assisting clients in raising funds in the capital markets, as well as providing ongoing credit monitoring support for Citi’s Leveraged Finance Portfolio of client relationships.

Analyst Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical support to Underwriters across LFU’s core functions: (1) Leveraged Finance transaction origination and credit approval; (2) periodic credit monitoring; (3) portfolio management and reporting, limits and early problem recognition; (4) global leveraged lending related projects and strategic initiatives

  • Evaluate and gain a strong understanding of clients' business model, financial performance and key credit drivers across various industries, through both due diligence process as part of transactions and ongoing credit monitoring responsibilities

  • Build and analyze models used for valuation and to forecast the client's operating and financial performance and be able to articulate assumptions and analysis to Underwriters and Risk Managers

  • Coordinate with the LFU Mumbai team to perform periodic written reviews of the clients' financial and operating performance, covenant compliance, management/relationship strategy, and competitive position within its peer group

  • Work in conjunction with Underwriters to assess appropriateness of credit extension transactions (leveraged buyouts, incremental debt raise or refinancing), secure approval for and assist in executing transactions on behalf of clients

  • Collaborate with our product partners in Capital Markets, Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Risk, in addition to Legal counsel (both internal and external) to develop the ability to understand the deal structures and to ensure they are properly documented and approved as per the Citi WCR Standards & Procedures

  • Analyze underlying business rationale/strategy for deals that are conducted through creating both Business and portfolio reviews for Senior Management on the global risks for the portfolio as well as to highlight key trends in the market.

  • Research and develop robust understanding of the fundamentals of the key industry trends and risk issues and develop the ability to succinctly convey his/her thoughts and opinions to the Risk Managers and Bankers

  • Responsible for monitoring news and events pertaining to Citi’s leveraged lending clients as well as providing regular updates to Bankers.

Qualifications:

  • Strong writing, analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentation skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to break down large amounts of data into concise, easy to understand formats

  • Ability to quickly and accurately find information upon a Banker / Manager’s request

  • Ability to take on demanding responsibilities and work independently, effectively manage deadlines and juggle multiple tasks at once

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, science, finance/economics, risk management or a related field required

The objective of the ERMTP is to develop consistent and comprehensive enterprise-wide awareness and competency in risk and controls policy knowledge and to provide employees with the knowledge and skills to carry out risk management and control responsibilities relevant to their roles. The ERMTP is anchored to enterprise-wide policies and standards supporting the four pillars of Citi’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework: Culture and Conduct, Risk Governance, Risk Management (including Level 0 / Level 1 Risk Categories) and Enterprise Risk & Controls Programs. The ERMTP is designed to provide all Citi employees with access to learning modules to help them understand how they contribute towards Citi’s risk management strategy through adhering to the relevant policies which apply to their roles.

ERMTP is a cumulative training curriculum developed and deployed at five levels of complexity:

  • Foundational (All Citi employees): definitional knowledge of Citi’s Enterprise Risk Programs and Risk Categories (Level 0 / Level 1)
  • Basic (Leaders & Risk and Controls practitioners): overview of objectives and key concepts and terms of each of Citi’s Enterprise Risk Programs and Risk Categories (Level 0 / Level 1)
  • Intermediate & Advanced (Risk & Controls practitioners): more detailed targeted knowledge of applicable Enterprise Risk Programs and/or Risk Categories (Level 0 / Level 1)
  • Oversight (Leaders): executive level knowledge of Citi’s Enterprise Risk Programs and Risk Categories for those accountable for managing risk
  • Technical Skills (all applicable employees)

The Training Content Program Manager role is a risk management subject matter expert responsible for driving the development and delivery of training programscovering

Financial Risks - e.g., Operational Risk, Model Risk and Controls
. The incumbentreports directly to the Head of ERMTPwith day-to-day interactions with the Citi’s Risk & Control policy owners, senior leaders and Head of Risk and Controls Learning & Development. Asan integral part of Citi’s Risk Transformation,the incumbentis responsible for working across the organization to drive the development and sustainability of a comprehensive enterprise-wide risk management training curriculum promoting Citi’s Enterprise Risk Framework and supporting risk and control policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership to drive the design and development of enterprise-wide training content promoting Citi’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework and supporting risk and control policies.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of subject matter ofNon-
    Financial Risks- e.g., Operational Risk, Model Risk and Controls
    , to proactively identify opportunities,
    toharmonize training content across related risk and control topics to better illustrate end-to-end understanding of Citi’s risk and control policies and programs.
  • Partner with Risk & Controls Policy Owners and Learning Advisors to drive the annual ERMTP Training Needs Analysis (TNA), gap analysis and training planning process.
  • Partner with Risk & Control Policy Owners and First Line Unit senior leaders to determine target audiences based on policy applicability, level of complexity and risk role archetype (i.e., Risk Awareness, Risk Informed, Risk Generators, Risk & Control Practitioners, Risk Oversight and Risk & Control Skills Development).
  • Partner with Citi’s Learning & Development to drive training program development including delivery of subject matter content and monitor training completion and feedback from employees .
  • Maintain ERMTP standards, processes, and controls to ensure sustainability of the ERMTP, including but not limitedto monitoring training efficacy metrics, driving annual and driven TNA review and managing on-going change control process.

Skills/Competencies:

  • Demonstrate solid understanding of Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Financial Risks, Non-Financial Risks, and Controls policies, standards, programs, and processes.
  • Leadership, critical thinking, and innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Able to engage with multiple senior stakeholders, build and shape cross-functional teams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and program management skills with the ability to scope, direct and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Universitydegree
  • 10+ years of financial industry related experience, including experience in ERM, Risk Management, Controls, Internal Audit or Compliance
  • Strong ERM, Risk management, Controls, Audit or Compliance experience, with a working knowledge of Risk and Controls policies, standards, programs, and processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented
