Individuals in MCA are responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive and robust Managers Control Self-Assessment (MCA), also known as Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), and the execution of control activities thus improving identification and remediation of significant control issues and operational risk events in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Support control activities of the Managers Control Self-Assessment (MCA) program, also known as Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA).
  • Assist & oversee the MCA program, including the annual/semi-annual/quarterly/monthly attestation, quality oversight, and related reporting.
  • Identify, analyze, and assess potential risks, ensuring timely identification and remediation of significant control issues and operational events.
  • Support the execution of the MCA in accordance with the ORM Policy & Framework, as well as applicable Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
  • Develop and maintain ORM tools and methodologies to support accurate and consistent assessments of the risk and control environment
  • Regularly monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate the effectiveness of risk and controls โ€ข Recommend enhancements or improvements as necessary to the MCA.
  • Maintain a robust tracking and reporting MCA inventory including key metrics to provide visibility on the status of control gaps and MCA quality control processes
  • Drive MCA best practices, transformation, and execution consistency across business/functions
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of teams and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in operational risk management, compliance, audit, or other control-related functions in the financial services industry.
  • Ability to identify, measure, and manage key risks and controls.
  • Strong knowledge in the development and execution for controls.
  • Proven experience in control related functions in the financial industry.
  • Proven experience in implementing sustainable solutions and improving processes.
  • Understanding of compliance laws, rules, regulations, and best practices.
  • Understanding of Citiโ€™s Policies, Standards, and Procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex risk and control activities and processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage at the senior management level.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Education:

Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

This role is responsible for performing application management and technology governance management of internal as well as third party vendor Commercial Cards applications. Engages in the initial technology risk assessment for new vendor relationships and is responsible for the onboarding, analysis, and reporting of third-party vendor managed and hosted applications.

  • Experience as Credit Cards business analyst in TS2 North America Commercial platform (5-7 years preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of TS2 client files and options
  • Experience in performing application management as well as vendor management
  • Ensures compliance of all managed applications with the Citi's Third-Party Risk Management objectives. (Experience in working with 3rd party technology vendors, a must).
  • Gathering data and documentation necessary to complete the Third-Party onboarding and ongoing Citi security policy requirements.
  • An innate ability to identify issues and work them to closure, including remediation and escalation where appropriate.
  • Planning and facilitating meetings with Third Party and internal stakeholders, taking all meeting minutes, and managing any follow up activities relevant to Third Party performance.
  • Facilitate the escalation of high-risk Third-Party incidents or perpetual performance failures affecting the compliance to Citi's Information Security Standards
  • Interfacing with various Citi technology, risk and compliance teams
  • Manage and ensure that the 3rd party vendor applications information in CSI is accurate, correct and up to date.
  • Work closely with the Information Security teams to ensure compliance of Commercial Cards applications with Citiโ€™s IS policies pre-contract and post-implementation.
  • Experience working across a diverse set of stakeholders with positive results.
  • Knowledge of mainframe and distributed architecture and protocols: NDM Connect Direct, MLI, MQ, API, XML.
  • Jira, Agile, DevOps Experience

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years experience with TS2 America Commercial Experience required
  • Ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholders
