The Asset Servicing Group Manager is accountable for management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas.

Leads and directs a team of Event Capture operational teams. Requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function.

What you will do

• This role will require the leadership of an Operational group processing Event Capture activities for EMEA markets related to Corporate Actions events (mandatory and Voluntary) within custody operations.

• These activities include revisions of Event announcements, communications and notifications for Corporate Action events and implementation of best-in-class activities, aligned to global standards.
• Drives regional alignment, developing organizational strategies, and builds credibility and trust with regional partners and management.
• Implement best-in class Event Capture processes globally and provide effective communication to senior audience with Global remit.
• Represent Event Capture group and supports a wide range of internal clients (product, sales, client delivery, and technology) and external corporate clients, with a global scope to implement enhanced solutions related to Event Capture.
• Drive implementation and results on Event Capture Global standardization initiatives and multiple high priority visible projects, and appropriately leverages and allocates necessary resources.
• Demonstrates an in-depth understanding of how Event Capture area integrates within the overall function to achieve objectives.
• Drive productivity and efficiencies commitments for the function.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

What we'll need from you:

• 10+ years of experience

• Senior level experience in a related role with commensurate experience in people management, project management and system transformation implementations within Custody Operations

• Experience in management within Custody Asset Servicing.
• Demonstrated success dealing with Senior stakeholders
• Ability to exhibit strong leadership and influential communication skills with a senior level audience
• Full comprehensive understanding and implementation of opportunities within Event Capture processes

What we do:

Middle Office Senior Analyst is a position responsible for providing operational support to Traders with securities, cash and derivatives transactions. It includes: trade monitoring and reporting, market matching and transaction settlement and requires understanding of business context. This position is based on multiple parties communication (via phone, email or personally) in order to investigate incoming queries and to monitor trade execution.

Responsibilities:

• Provide an operational support to Traders with securities, cash and derivatives transactions

• Prepare daily and weekly/monthly reports

• Cooperate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders like: Brokers, Custodian, Accounting Teams etc.

• Perform control functions such as daily trade monitoring, reconciliations across systems and failed trades management

• Provide support to junior staff in daily work

• Be aware of operational risk and ensure process is compliant with regulations to minimize processing risk. Propose and implement new KRIs/controls to address/mitigate risk at team level.

Requirements:

• Professional English

• 2-3 years of experience in financial sector, including capital markets

• Good working knowledge of MS Office

Qualifications:

• Fluent English
• Minimum 1 year of experience on relevant position
