In this role, you will develop and demonstrate deep domain knowledge, product expertise, and an understanding of complex customer use cases and deployment models. • 8+ years of professional experience designing and delivering products in cross-functional teams from strategy to delivery.

• Expertise and experience designing for AI products and/or features.
• Knowledge of the networking domain or experience in a related product or field is a plus.
• Experience working on technically complex B2B enterprise products.

• Serve as the technical authority for AI/ML security assurance, collaborating with engineering, product, and architecture teams to ensure secure, compliant delivery of systems and services.
• Define, implement, and maintain security standards for GenAI, ML pipelines, data usage, and AI applications across hybrid and cloud environments.
• Conduct threat modeling, adversarial risk assessments, and AI-specific threat surface analysis on LLMs, data pipelines, and orchestration frameworks.
• Drive secure-by-design practices throughout the AI development lifecycle, embedding security gates and validations.
• Lead AI-specific security testing, including red teaming, prompt injection defenses, RAG hardening, model sandboxing, and privacy-preserving techniques.

• +8 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity and GenAI security, including demonstrated work with prompt injection mitigation, adversarial robustness, and implementing AI governance controls.
• At least 5 years of experience working with AI ecosystem stacks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or LangChain), including securing AI/ML training pipelines and deployment workflows in production environments.
• Proficiency in Python, with a minimum of 3 years using Jupyter and proven experience in securing REST APIs and microservices in enterprise-scale applications.
• Expert at cloud security architectures across AWS, Azure, orGCP, and AI PaaS offerings like AWS Bedrock or Google Vertex AI.
• Minimum 3 years of experience conducting automated threat modeling and red teaming activities specifically for AI/ML systems.

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, GDPR) and their implications for AI data handling.
• Knowledge of AI supply chain risks, synthetic data verification, and secure model provenance.
• Background in AI-specific security middleware, firewalls, or policy layers for model-based systems.
• Published work, patents, or thought leadership in AI security or trustworthy AI.
• Participation in AI/ML security working groups or standards bodies (e.g., OWASP AI, NIST, IEEE).
• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance) with mature software assurance programs.

Your Impact

In this role, you will drive the develop or a new workload platform leveraging Kubernetes, Cilium and Kubevirt with a focus on ease of use. You’ll collaborate with industry leading internal Cisco teams, like Isovalent, with the goal of making our platform’s network seamlessly co-exist with customer’s existing network topology. You’ll also partner with our AI Software & Platform team to leverage agentic AI for running playbook/automation to simplify migration of workloads and integrations from existing workload platforms to our platform.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years or Master’s degree with 6+ years or PhD with 3+ years of platform software development experience to including programming with GoLang or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated experience using Kubernetes for automating, scaling and managing workload applications.
• Demonstrated experience with open-source operating systems such as Linux
• Demonstrate experience using database management tools such as SQL
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with remote procecure calls (RPCs) like gRPC, Thrift and JSON RPC
• Experience with tools such as Cilium, Kubevirt, KVM and eBPF
• Experience with VMware vSphere and NSX
• Experience with platforms like OpenShift
• Experience with open-source tools like OpenStack

You will use relationships with the broader partner teams, including within the Global Security Sales Organization, Americas Partner Organization, and Americas Sales Organization, to help our strategic partners in a joint go-to-market motion to accelerate Security sales with an emphasis on driving the successful adoption of the partners’ investment in leading with Cisco Security.

You will expand relationships with these strategic partners, at leadership levels to increase awareness and seller participation. You will accomplish this through tight alignment, ongoing enablement, and the creation of sales plays to help remove friction and support partner and Cisco differentiation in portfolio as well as market.

Minimum Qualifications :

5+ years proven experience in sales execution with strategic partners/customers.

Understanding of Cisco’s field sales organization operational model (roles and responsibilities, regions, segments, theaters, etc.) is required.

Broad high-tech industry and cyber security knowledge, understanding/experience with large OEM resellers preferred
