You will be working closely with extended regional teams to deliver Business critical services to high value customers. In this role, you will be resolving issues with Cisco products and will gain insight on the detailed functionality of Cisco products and customers with all distributed elements of the service chain. The ideal candidate demonstrates a proficiency and appetite to resolve customer issues and for learning new technologies, evidenced by the ability to expand upon core technical knowledge on Cisco products and technologies.

• Provide phone/email consultation to independently debug complex product problems reported by Cisco customer.
• Acts as a technical point of contact for engineers in team.
• Provide technical support to customers for Cisco technologies, products, and/or solutions.
• Typically be responsible for resolving moderately and complex technical problems, depending on the customers' need.
• You will simulate technical problems in lab environment.
• You will share knowledge with other people in writing technical documents and enlarge the knowledge database.
• You will provide internal and/or external technical presentations (cross-training).
• You will raise some specific problems to the responsible Business Units for product enhancement.
• You will demonstrate a competence and appetite for learning new technologies, evidenced by the ability to expand upon core knowledge.
• Ready to work in 24*7 Rotation Shift (Including Night Shift).

• Bachelors or Master's degree or equivalent experience in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Computer Networking, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a similar field.
• 8 - 10 years of validated experience in technical consulting, design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
• Possess technical certifications like CCNA, CCNP, CCIE desired (Routing & Switching / Service Provider).
• Maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco IP and Optical Routers (ASR9912, ASR9910, ASR9903, Cisco 8K)
• Experience in Networking Protocols and Service Configurations: Detailed knowledge of OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, LISP, VxLAN, IPv6, MPLS LDP, MPLS TE, RSVP, VPWS, VPLS, L3VPN, TE-Tunnel, Segment Routing.
• Knowledge on Switching Technologies like STP, RSTP, RSVP-TE, VTP, VSS, vPC, vDC, MSTP, LACP, VLAN, VXLAN, EVPN, LISP
• Possess creative problem-solving and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills.
• Easily simplifies, communicates, and educates customers about sophisticated data and processes.

This role involves end-to-end architecture, design, and recommendation of solutions for Service Provider Accounts using Cisco technologies. It requires developing tailored, innovative solutions to optimize client networks and align with their strategic objectives.

The ideal candidate should havein the telecommunications industry, with a strong background in architecting, designing, and implementing network solutions for service providers. Experience across
IP Networking, Packet Core, Data Center, and Securityis essential.

• Leading technical discussions with customers.
• Designing end-to-end solutions across Cisco’s networking, security, data center, and collaboration technologies.
• Working closely with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation.
• Acting as a trusted advisor to customers for their digital transformation.
• Guiding and mentoring the technical team to ensure architectural best practices and successful solution delivery.

Minimum Qualifications -

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BE) and hold Cisco certifications such as CCIE.

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certification.
• Strong understanding of Cisco technologies and solutions.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing network solutions

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and delivery, to ensure seamless solution implementation and client satisfaction
• Capable of guiding and inspiring teams, leading technical discussions, and driving consensus among diverse groups to achieve common goals

Your Impact

You would work with the Commercial vertical in India to understand customers’ needs and provide collaboration solutions to address these needs. The following are some of your key work areas:

• Work closely with the Account Executive team to create a sales plan for your territory.
• Understand the Collaboration solutions in-depth.
• Work with the Business Unit to understand the technology and products.
• Train Internal and External teams. Internal teams include Account Managers, Solutions Engineers and top management, External Team includes partners and customers.
• Represent Cisco in Cisco Hosted events.
• Understand Customer’s needs-latent or stated.
• Provide solutions that are efficient and cost effective.
• Stay abreast of competition and gain competitive knowledge.
• Work on RFPS. Draft technical specs, provide compliance and work with customers and partners to complete the necessary documentation.
• Understand legal obligations of the role and act accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering from accredited Engineering college/University.
• CCNA/CCIE or equivalent is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good Communications skills-Articulation of concepts using industry terminologies.
• Proficient in MS Office tools, Whiteboarding, Communication technologies.
• Good written and verbal skills to put across concepts, solutions and technology is needed.
• Minimum 10 + years of experience in customer facing role preferably in collaboration technologies.
• Experience in working along with partners would be desirable.
• Positive Attitude, Team-Work and desire to complete work in a given time frame is essential.
• Work experience on RFPs and Tender documents is desirable.
