Experience in Service provider industry as well as selling end to end solutions is required.

Strong technical and business knowledge with complementary skills to understand customer business requirements and align them to Cisco solutions.

Strong negotiation skills to navigate price/value issues that result in a Win/Win philosophy.

Must be seasoned in defending an installed base against strong competition and unseating incumbents within the account.

Must be able to work in a cross matrix management organization with the ability to offer direct and indirect influence.

• Serve as the authority in Cisco security solutions
• Understand business requirements for a customer base and be able to translate them into technical requirements
• Understand and articulate Cisco’s architecture and services within security technologies
• Perform in-depth and high-level technical presentations for customers partners and prospects

• 8+ years of technical sales or pre-sales experience with 4+ years focused in Security.
• Network Security: Next Generation Firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, NAC, NDR and Network Segmentation
• Secure Services Edge (SSE) - Secure Web Gateway (SWG), DLP, CASB and ZTNA.
• BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills in English
• Travel required

• CCIE Security, Cloud Architect Professional Certified, CISSP Certification
• Secure Access Service Edge (SASE): experience with SD-WAN + SSE
• Endpoint Security, Threat Detection, and Response: experience with AV, EDR, IR, XDR, SIEM, SOAR
• Cloud Security and Application Security: cloud networking and security expertise, knowledge with CSPM, CNAPP, WAF, API Security, and Workload protection
• Identity and Access Management (IAM): experience with MFA, SSO, PAM, and identity federation protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
