For this role, you will be part of a team of 5-10 developers working on the development ofHelix (Open) Telemetry and Helix Intelligent Integration products.
To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- 5+ years working with Scala
- Experience with modern effect systems for Scala such as ZIO, Monix, or Cats Effect
- Knowhow of Java or other concurrency patterns
- Strong experience in Test Driven Development and experience using ScalaTest or similar
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex details
- Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL, MySQL, Postgres, etc)
- Experience working with messaging frameworks like Kafka
- Experience working with cloud technologies: Oracle, AWS, or GCP
- Experience working in containerized environments like Kubernetes and using tools like Kubectl
Preferred:
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience with Arangodb or Clickhouse
- Experience working with OpenTelemetry
- Experience working with existing APM solutions like Datadog, New Relic, Dynatrace, or similar
