Key job responsibilities
*Lead and manage a team of service technicians responsible for generator maintenance, repair, non-destructive testing on electrical equipment, and battery maintenance. Ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
* Drive equipment lifecycle management, including end-of-life planning and replacement strategies for critical power infrastructure
*Coordinate with maintenance scheduling teams to ensure 100% completion of required maintenance activities while minimizing impact to data center operations
*Manage multiple concurrent projects across various sites, including improvement initiatives from conception to completion
* Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and contract partners, ensuring adherence to SLAs and quality standards
* Effectively manage operational budgets and resource allocation across multiple programs
* Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement, implementing best practices and driving team development
* Perform rotational On-Call duties as the after hours on-call Services Team Manager for the data centers in the region. This includes responding to any issues within the data centers and managing the investigation, mitigation, and recovery of the issue(s)

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Working with the Logistics Manager, you will create plans to optimize the flow of parts through their lifecycle; tracking inventory location, movement, age, and turns. You will work closely with Data Center Operations Technicians and Data Center Engineers to fulfill parts quickly and accurately. You will also work with Procurement and Hardware Engineering to purchase new parts and interface directly with vendors to process RMAs and receive replacements. - Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 3+ cumulative years of design experience with industrial or commercial engineering in Mission Critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation, oil / gas facilities.
