Amazon Connect was designed from the ground up to be omnichannel, it provides a seamless experience across voice and chat for your customers and agents leveraging AWS. This is a highly technical position for someone who can dive deep, build complex, AWS-optimized architectures, and help customers accelerate their adoption of AWS services. Your broad responsibilities include: owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects. You should be as comfortable discussing complex technical details with a room full of engineers as you are briefing an executive audience. - 7+ years design/implementation/consulting experience of distributed applications
- 5+ years management of technical, customer facing resources
- 5+ years of experience building integrations across WFM, CRM, and contact center solutions or experience with communications protocols and APIs such as WebRTC and SIP or similar CCaaS technology

- Perform design and equipment submittal review for new Data Centers in your region.
- Troubleshoot, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and create Corrective Action (CA) documentation for site/equipment failures.

- Own the design for existing data center upgrades and design-solutions, which add capacity, improve availability, and increase efficiency.

- Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related discipline, or 6 years commensurate industry or military experience in lieu of degree
- Cumulative 3+ years of focused experience in Data Center or Carrier-class Telecommunications design, engineering, and/or operations and maintenance (O&M) of data center critical environment infrastructure.

• Master’s degree in engineering
• 10+ years cumulative data center design experience
• PE or EIT
• Prior project management experience; PMP, PMI

* Make recommendations on how new AWS offerings fit in the company strategy and architecture
* Complete analysis and present periodic reviews of operational performance to customer
