

Key job responsibilities
• Engage customers, partners, and field teams to deeply understand and measure customer value and pain points in adoption of Enterprise Support Services (Enterprise Support, Enterprise On-Ramp, Migration Services, plus other new products launched throughout the year)
• Analyze drivers of Enterprise Support Services adoption and identify levers for improvement
• Identify, design and execute controlled experiments in driving Enterprise Support Services adoption
• Review and analyze Enterprise Support Services pricing and costing, ensuring savings are passed on to our customers
• Quantify impact of Enterprise Support Services adoption on AWS Platform adoption, estimate the ROI of Support investments in accelerating AWS platform adoption
• Develop and refine sales collateral, reference cases and value proofs for customers and partners
• Drive commercial innovation in Support, e.g. differentiated support offerings per customer segment · In conjunction with Field Enablement, create Support related training programs and material for the field team so that they can properly articulate the Support value proposition
• Work with stakeholders across Commercial/Public Sales, Premium Support, and Enterprise
• Prepare and present business reviews to the senior Sales and BD management team
• Drive Enterprise Support Services deals end to end with SalesDiverse Experiences

As a Cloud Economics Business Value Specialist within AWS, you will help AWS customers shape their IT strategies and financial models, and quantify both the cost and value benefits of running applications in the cloud. To do this, you will collaborate with AWS sales teams to engage prospective customers to share best practices migration and finance strategies, and build board-ready business cases. You will identify technical and economic barriers to adoption of AWS with these customers and develop repeatable strategies to overcome objections. You will communicate the value proposition for AWS to a broad audience of IT, Finance and Business leaders.Your responsibilities will include driving migration ROI related business development activities within AWS, supporting the AWS Sales, Solution Architecture, Marketing, Business Development and product teams on customer engagements. You will serve as an expert resource on the financial modeling of IT applications and infrastructures and quantification of cloud value benefits. As necessary, you will bring in other AWS resources to help our customers properly evaluate their IT options in the cloud.
This is a customer facing role. You will be required to travel to client locations and deliver professional services when needed.

- 6+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 6+ years of experience with On-premise infrastructure (data center, compute, storage, networking, databases)
- Experience in developing financial models and ROI analysis for IT infrastructure
