Respond to cyber attacks in real time

As a Security Architect Associate, you will be responsible for:

• Devising and engaging mitigation strategies to prevent real time attacks, using Akamai products & platform
• Performing advanced analysis to identify attacks and threats to customer's digital properties and/or their business network
• Communicating with customers regarding challenges and providing updates and results on your mitigation and analysis
• Innovating around tooling development & product enhancement.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Need to have relevant industry experience on Akamai Platform OR networking OR Web application Security
• Demonstrate knowledge of how the internet works, including, DNS. HTTP, Suite of IP Protocols
• Show knowledge of common OWASP top 10 and how they relate to internet services compromise or attacks

• Mentoring writers with people and project management skills, consistently delivering projects on time.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather accurate and detailed information.
• Having a foundational understanding of technical concepts, with hands-on experience in both software and hardware documentation.
• Leading by example in creating and maintaining various content typesinstallation manuals, user guides, API references, training slides, and video materials.

• Have a Bachelor's Degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, or another related field or its equivalent
• Have 8+ years of technical writing experience, and 2 to 3 years as a team lead.
• Have experience working on an agile software development team across remote and globally distributed teams
• Have experience supporting multiple development teams and deliverables in a demanding environment with multiple competing priorities
• Be experienced with industry-standard tools for software development and documentation.
• Have proficiency in wikis, issue trackers, diagramming, project management, version control, and code editors.
