The difference you will make:

As a Market Associate, you will be responsible for the retention and growth of long-tail Hosts in an assigned territory within Korea. You will establish and nurture business relationships with emerging professional host accounts by suggesting and supporting strategic initiatives that drive their success on Airbnb. These initiatives will include supply optimisation, pricing optimisation, host recruitment, and platform education. In addition, as these Hosts successfully grow on the platform, it will be imperative that you help them maintain best-in-class hospitality standards for an excellent guest experience. Beyond one-to-one account management responsibilities, you’ll also support (Senior) Market Managers on your team to deliver one-to-many education programs, such as webinars and scaled e-mail communication. Ultimately, this team will be responsible for helping Host Entrepreneurs thrive on Airbnb.

A typical day:

  • Prospect and provide consultation to new and emerging professional host accounts within assigned territory.
  • Directly manage accounts to meet and exceed quarterly/annual sales goals. We are looking for someone that is goals-obsessed, is inputs-driven, and is willing to take action (high volume of calls, meetings, etc.).
  • Support scaled strategies to effectively manage & optimise the long-tail of hundreds of Professional Hosts in your territory.
  • Conduct quarterly optimisation calls and business reviews with assigned partners.
  • Secure availability over high compression dates.
  • Educate clients on all significant product changes and cascade feedback on product and policy to the relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Respond to and deliver exceptional service to your professional hosts in a timely and efficient manner, occasionally traveling within your territory to provide in-person support and guidance.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, communications, public policy and customer support teams to ensure our long-term market success.
  • Analyze data and utilize data-driven recommendations to identify and action on strategic opportunities in your region to drive increase in sales.
  • Maintain a baseline understanding of the technical integration of various software partners so that you can provide the right support to your clients.

Your expertise:

  • 3+ years of experience in new sales, account management and partner support.
  • 2+ years of hospitality, travel or technology industry experience (nice to have).
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Proven track record of being able to effectively work a book of business (account management).
  • Hungry with a strong bias for action, and persistent in the face of adversity and objection.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Team player: highly motivated to share best practices and knowledge to help peers succeed.
  • Proficient quantitative skills and proven ability to interpret and apply data throughout your day-to-day work.
  • The ability to get things done with constantly changing priorities, projects and deadlines.
  • Available to travel to assigned markets (when business travel resumes).
  • Passion for Airbnb, travel, and the sharing economy - being an Airbnb host is a plus.
  • Proven experience working cross-functionally.
  • Ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels, with a proven track record to execute in ambiguous environments.

  • Partner with global and regional marketing and creative teams to drive the development and transcreation of global brand campaigns.

As the Product Manager based in our APAC region, you will report to the Product Marketing Director for International Markets. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the travel industry at a market and broader regional level, and have a proven track record of driving product innovation. You will be the voice of our products for the market in your region and love the journey from taking a product from idea to reality.

This role can be based in Singapore, Tokyo, or Seoul.

A Typical Day:

  • Build deep expertise on Airbnb in your market/region through user research, marketplace data, and an understanding of the competitive landscape and be capable of synthesizing in a cohort product story input from multiple stakeholders and sources.
  • Work with other functional leaders in your market/region to articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Airbnb products and new businesses.

  • 8-12 years of product management / marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of product leadership.
