Solution Architect jobs

Solution architects are responsible for guiding clients from concept to launch when developing complex software solutions. They must possess a comprehensive understanding of software development, architecture and platforms, and the skills to turn technical concepts into workable solutions. These professionals must be strong communicators and able to translate requirements between clients, developers and executives. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another related field, and 5+ years of experience in design, development, and architecture of software solutions. Solution architects will define, analyze and document the requirements, create project estimates and design the proposed solutions. They will work with cross-functional teams to review the design and discuss the technology options and processes that are best suited to the project. They will also ensure the compatible integration of all software components, analyze the system performance, and identify any conflicts that may arise. The solution architect must ensure the cost-effectiveness, scalability, and secure integration of the product with existing systems. They must also have a good knowledge of the latest technologies, industry trends, and be comfortable troubleshooting any problems that may arise.
