As a Senior Software Engineer in Des Moines, Iowa, your primary responsibility as an Expoint user will be to develop software products and services for a variety of customers. You will analyze business requirements, plan and design applications, test and debug programs, supervise development work, and deploy software systems. You should have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and an aptitude for effective communication. At least five years of software engineering experience is necessary, and experience utilizing the .NET Framework is desired. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and remain comfortable through significant technical challenges. You will work closely with other software engineers, front-end developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of various projects. You should have excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills in order to keep projects on track and move them forward quickly. You will be responsible for developing software solutions for client projects and internal development initiatives. You will also monitor, troubleshoot, and support existing client applications. You should be comfortable working with new technologies and taking responsibility for tasks and projects. Although your primary responsibility is as a Senior Software Engineer, you will also be responsible for other technical related tasks. Previous experience with web services, mobile development, and client/server architectures is desired. The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects is a must.
