About the Role

In this role within the UK&I Central Operations team, you’ll be at the heart of solving these complex problems. Leveraging data-driven insights, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Commercial, Finance, Data Science, and Product—to drive operational excellence and deliver an exceptional experience for both customers and couriers.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Own key aspects of our UK operations - such as delivery times, order completion rates, and throughput - to ensure a seamless experience for consumers, couriers, and merchants.
• Partner with global product teams to shape, test, and launch new features (e.g. enhanced matching algorithms, innovative customer propositions, autonomous deliveries).
• Use data-driven analysis to identify opportunities to improve our operations, and bring these opportunities to life through experimentation and continuous optimisation
• Build and optimise UK marketplace processes to ensure operational excellence (e.g. determining store level delivery areas, ensuring we have the right amount of courier supply)
• Collaborate with senior commercial stakeholders to improve account-level performance, using marketplace insights to inform strategy and support commercial decision-making

Basic Qualifications

• Quantitative degree in STEM, Economics or similar
• 3+ years experience in operations/ analytics/ product ideally within a tech or strategy consultancy firm
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to build compelling business cases to support recommendations
• Robust data analysis and technical skills, including advanced SQL to source data from large, complex data sources
• Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)

Preferred Qualifications

• Able to use Python to perform data analysis (e.g. data manipulation, regression modeling)
• Experience working with a wide range of functional stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Commercial, Finance, Legal)

About the Role

As a highly technical PM, you will work closely with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to build and refine pricing and matching models that drive efficiency, fairness, and profitability. You should be passionate about marketplace dynamics, algorithmic decision-making, and creating seamless user experiences.

What the Candidate Will Do

• Define & execute product strategies that optimize pricing and matching algorithms for drivers and riders.
• Work closely with engineering and data science to experiment, measure, and improve algorithms.
• Analyze marketplace performance and make data-driven decisions to optimize supply-demand balance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, and Growth, to align on pricing strategies.
• Identify key trade-offs between driver earnings, rider experience, and business growth, making recommendations accordingly.
• Develop and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and improvements for rapid execution.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of Product Management experience in a very data-driven and algorithm-heavy environment.
• Must have a very strong technical background - this person will be creating and implementing pricing models and optimizing algorthims.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on products that have a multi-sided marketplace is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make decisions accordingly.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$161,000 per year - USD$179,000 per year.

You will partner closely with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Accounting, and Supplier Management teams to deliver seamless vendor experiences while ensuring financial and process discipline. You’ll also play a critical role in developing your team, driving operational excellence, and scaling our vendor operations function to support the evolving needs of the CLO.

• Set Strategy and Drive Execution : Define the vision, roadmap, and priorities for vendor operations, aligning with broader legal operations and organizational goals.
• Optimize Vendor Lifecycle Management : Oversee processes across onboarding, contracting, matter management, billing compliance, and payment workflows for outside counsel and legal vendors.
• Own E-Billing Platform Strategy and Performance : Guide the ongoing development, integration, and support model for our e-billing systems (e.g., SimpleLegal, Coupa), ensuring scalability and usability across stakeholders.
• Lead and Manage a global team: Provide day-to-day leadership and professional development for a team of Program Managers focused on legal billing, vendor lifecycle management, and systems administration.
• Ensure Excellence in Billing Operations : Maintain oversight of daily billing operations, including spend request governance, PO and matter creation, invoicing accuracy, and timely payment processing.
• Accruals and Budget Collaboration : Serve as the primary operational liaison with Accounting and Finance teams to support legal accruals, budget planning, forecasting, and reporting efforts.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration : Act as the primary point of contact for vendor operations initiatives with Legal leadership, Finance, Procurement, and other key internal stakeholders.
• Standardize and Scale Processes : Identify and implement best practices, policies, and KPIs to improve efficiency, compliance, and transparency across vendor operations.
• Drive Change Management and User Adoption: Lead change initiatives by developing training materials, delivering user education, and clearly communicating new processes to support global adoption and alignment across the department.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in legal operations, vendor management, procurement, or finance, including 2+ years of people management experience.
• Experience scaling legal billing operations or vendor management programs.
• Deep understanding of legal billing processes and experience with tools such as SimpleLegal, Coupa, or equivalent platforms.
• Proven experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, including PO lifecycle management, invoice flow, and payment operations.
• Experience with Salesforce to manage workflows, reporting, or integrations across operational systems.

• Experience reviewing, drafting and coordinating SME feedback for outside counsel engagement letters.

What You'll Do

• Championing legal excellence: Be at the forefront of Uber's legal efforts, working on engaging, hands-on work, tackling novel legal issues and commercial contracts, partnership agreements, technology agreements, promotional agreements, sponsorships, partnerships, as well as general procurement and marketing and advertising initiatives; you'll be a trusted legal advisor to the Uber Eats businesses.

• 3 year PQE+ at a top-notch law firm or in-house.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as Uber’s lead counsel on U.S. and global trade regimes, including export controls (EAR/ITAR) and classification ( ECCN/USML), OFAC sanctions, and cross-border investment restrictions.
• Partner with Corporate Development and Legal during early-stage diligence to advise on trade exposure, jurisdictional risk, and market-entry structuring.
• Monitor and interpret geopolitical developments (e.g., U.S.-China, MEA, Russia, APAC) and translate them into clear, actionable guidance for business teams.
• Build and maintain scalable legal frameworks to manage evolving trade risk in AV partnerships, AI development, and global operations.
• Partner with Policy, Legal, Security, Product, and regional legal teams to ensure coordinated responses to regulatory change and enforcement trends.
• Support audit readiness, regulator engagement, and internal training across the enterprise as needed.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of eight (8) years of legal experience in private practice, government, and/or in-house.
• J.D. and license to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
• Significant experience interpreting and applying U.S. and international regulations related to export controls (EAR/ITAR), OFAC sanctions, and FDI regimes.
• Experience classifying emerging tech under ECCN and USML.
• Experience with global sanctions and export control laws outside the U.S. (e.g. European Union and Asia) is a plus.
