  • Work closely with Regional Collision Manager to oversee all daily operations of the Collision Center to ensure delivery of excellent results consistently on all aspects of the business
  • Manage resource scheduling and allocation, implement and adherence of work standard quality, and understand and own every aspect of the team’s performance
  • You will be responsible for driving continuous improvements to facilitate exceptional team output and customer service. We expect you to champion safety, efficiency, quality, and overall excellence in all your actions and decisions
  • Forecast and surpass goals and objectives for the site through regular audits of shop operations
  • Take ownership and create a culture of accountability, always maintaining the integrity of the Tesla brand, its processes, procedures, and values
  • Provide regular coaching and feedback and have a deep knowledge of your team’s strengths and opportunities. You will be responsible for leading change and inspiring your team every day
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Regional Collision Manager
What You’ll Bring
  • 5-8 years of management experience in the collision industry or relevant roles in manufacturing, automotive, or customer service, in addition to 3-5 years vendor management expertise
  • Bachelor’s Degree, relevant Certificate from a Vocational School in Collision Repair, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in effectively leading diverse field, technical repair, or manufacturing teams in a technology-driven environment
  • Read and comprehend automotive repair procedures, with in-depth knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in collision repair; ability to run processes using Six Sigma or Toyota Lean
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to influence teams to achieve business targets
  • Follow instructions meticulously, showcasing attention to detail in tasks and responsibilities; capable of self-management in limited supervision environments
  • Valid driver’s license preferred

  • Expert working knowledge in frame equipment, welding, riveting, metal work, diagnostic systems and estimating platforms
  • High level of proficiency in written and spoken English and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other cloud applications
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision. 50% travel domestically and internationally based on business needs and capable of lifting 50 lbs and drive a forklift

  • Develop preventative maintenance schedules that drive down MTTR and improve overall shop uptime
  • Understand and track the spending across the shops to work with shop leaders and/or internal team to reduce costs
  • Maintain and help develop up-to-date maintenance and calibration procedures and schedules
  • Develop new maintenance instructions for equipment or equipment changes and provide training to maintenance teams
What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of maintenance technician management experience in a high-volume manufacturing/industrial environment, military or equivalent experience, with a strong emphasis on torque tooling is preferred
  • Skilled at troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, welding, and/or pneumatic systems, and communications networks/systems
  • Demonstrated experience with 3-phase 480/208 VAC, single-phase 208/120 VAC, and 24 VDC systems
  • Ability to rapidly become proficient in PLC/Soft PLC communications
  • Demonstrated ability to use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance-Management Systems) to include monitoring, scheduling, and creating work orders and preventative maintenance schedules
  • Must be skilled with common workplace software (MS Word, Excel, Visio, Access)
  • Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical, billing and other issues with consumables suppliers to ensure smooth operations and business alignment
  • Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional stakeholders, using Tesla project management tools to track timelines and report key information
What You’ll Bring
  • 3+ years of experience in body/paint tech, operations, chemicals, or related fields (collision experience a plus)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects with attention to detail
  • Proactive, responsive, and positive with strong interpersonal skills, energy, and urgency
