The Slack GTM Center of Excellence team is looking for a highly qualified individual to lead our EMEA GTM strategy and execution for Slack. You will partner directly with the Slack & Sales leadership team, as well as the Core Operating units as a trusted advisor, focused on driving revenue growth in region through strategic analysis as well as Sales program and enablement delivery. You will think strategically, arrive at a focused execution plan, and lead the plan to fruition. Example of projects can range from the very strategic to the very operational and focus on some of the many areas, such as Go-To-Market planning, regional playbooks, market segmentation, sales pipeline, and business performance review.
Impact:

  • Represent the EMEA Slack GTM Team across Strategy, Programs and Enablement with both the Slack Sales Leaders as well as their counterparts

  • Own the Quarterly GTM Planning for programs and enablement in region including both Slack specialist training and core activation, as well partnering with marketing for customer activation strategy

  • Be the voice of the EMEA Slack Sales team in Global Slack initiatives i.e. Pricing & Packaging or SF Channels Launches

  • Define key performance metrics and targets, build reports and dashboards to derive insights into the health of the business, identify areas of weakness, and present improvement recommendations to sales leadership

  • Perform ad-hoc analyses across multiple data sets and tools (examples of analyses include customer segmentation, sales participation, propensity to buy, white space, etc.)

  • Drive forecast management excellence to ensure sustained, predictable growth across all business units, coordinate weekly forecast calls to track status of sales pursuits

  • Create executive-level presentations for both local and global leadership reviews; organise quarterly business reviews


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of professional experience, ideally in consulting or sales strategy/business operations roles

  • Experience with quantitative analysis and financial modeling

  • Experience with designing & running Sales Programs and Enablement sessions

  • Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to translate complex information into easily consumable insights

  • Self-starter and high degree of motivation to go above and beyond the task at hand

  • Excellent communications and presentation skills

  • Experience with R, Python, SQL, Tableau (or similar analytical packages) a plus

  • Develop strong relationships with regional Alliances stakeholders to ensure priority partners are represented at key events.

  • Own the sales process from prospecting to deal close, building and maintaining deep, long-lasting relationships with key sponsor decision-makers & senior leaders to drive ongoing value through upsells and renewals.

  • Develop sales material narrative, pitch to client decision-makers, structure deals, negotiate terms, close, and work with legal to execute contracts.

  • Project manage the delivery of all elements of your sold sponsorships in collaboration with the execution arm of the Sponsorship Marketing team and occasionally manage complete programs from execution to delivery.

  • Leverage established rate cards and asset valuations to structure, price, successfully negotiate, and close deals that help meet or exceed revenue and key account goals.

  • Ideate, build, and package 360-degree solution-based sponsorships based on a client’s needs, objectives, and feedback in collaboration with the strategy team.

  • Work with the strategy team to create and deliver sponsorship recap/proof of performance presentations and measurement reports.

  • Travel frequently to support onsite execution and ensure a best-in-class partner experience.

Qualifications

  • 2–4+ years of relevant work experience (sponsorship sales, account management, project management, or similar field).

  • Self-motivated individual capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Proven experience effectively working with teams across multiple departments, time zones, and functions.

  • Strong attention to detail and project management experience.

  • Working knowledge of the Salesforce partner ecosystem.

  • Experience with Sales Cloud is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to present to leadership and strongpresentation-buildingskills.

  • Demonstrated ability to build consensus across diverse teams.

  • Dynamic, self-assured demeanor that thrives in a successful team.

  • 12+ years in software and/or applications sales (ideally in a CRM, ERP and/or otherwise relevant software company), selling primarily to the CxO level

  • Proven ability to drive transformational change across a large organisation: understands the drivers of how to change a culture, assess performance, continuously refresh a sales organization and build capability

  • Excellent operational and analytical abilities as well as critical thinking

  • Proven track record of building satisfied, loyal and reference-able customers

  • Dynamic and strong sales execution mindset with a passion for a fast-paced growing environment

  • Serve as the single point of customer accountability responsible for the orchestration of all Signature deliverables, experience, renewal, and expansion.

  • Cultivate and maintain stakeholder relationships with the customer’s IT and business executive leadership, sponsors, and decision-makers within customer organisations that have purchased Signature.

  • Help your customers achieve their business goals and outcomes on the Salesforce platform by:

  • Coordinating the completion of the Signature Success catalog of services as required for your customer.

  • Providing timely, proactive Salesforce feature guidance based on the areas of interest for your customer.

  • Acting as an advisor to your customers for the adoption of new features of Salesforce’s annual release schedules and identifying potential challenges and risks to your customer's implementation.

  • Communicate the value of Signature Success. Be accountable for ensuring all collaborators understand this value so that customers continue to renew Signature Success.

  • Act as an advocate for customers during the triage and resolution of high-severity cases to assist with the timely resolution of these issues.

  • The CSM may be required for occasional travel to customer sites and may need to be available for some after-hour or weekend coverage, depending on the customer’s need.


Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of work experience in one or more of the following: Technical Customer Success, Salesforce CRM or SaaS platform use, project leadership, technology solutions development, technical solutions, and/or solutions architecture.

  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud and/or a relevant competing platform.

  • 4+ years’ experience in management consulting services,

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels of the organisation, including executive and C-level.

  • Skills for analysing technical concepts and translating them into business terms and mapping business requirements into technical features.

  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in business-friendly terms to customers, then explain customer needs to internal partners.

  • Knowledge of software development process and design methodologies.

  • Experience leading efforts of cross-functional teams to facilitate the resolution or disposition of customer needs or projects.


Preferred Requirements

  • Salesforce product certifications are a plus (AI Associate, Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, and Service Cloud Consultant).

  • Knowledge of Salesforce products and features, capabilities, best use, and how to deploy.

  • Experience working with Enterprise-level customers.

  • Drive forecast management excellence to ensure sustained, predictable PipeGen across all business units, coordinate weekly forecast calls to track status
  • Create executive - level presentations for both local and global leadership reviews; organise monthly business reviews
  • Assist in troubleshooting of operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems and processes to fix root causes
